Quit working within 5 to 6 weeks which it wasn’t used that whole time. It charged. The screen lights up, shows everything it’s supposed to. Battery life, radio station and volume on the highest it could go, and there is absolutely no sound out of the radio.It was great the first four or five times I used it and yes was long periods of time then the next time it cut off and I was like well maybe something bumped against it or it’s not as fully charged as I thought it had 3/4 of a bar of battery. So that wasn’t the issue. They have absolutely nothing on their site about troubleshooting this other than simple instructions about where the volume is and how to turn it up. You go on the site to look at frequently asked questions and all the answers are in a different language. This was a complete disappointment and I’m past the 30 days because who’s gonna use it every single day to really know

Thought it would be a little bigger . It's well put together,very portable several different power options and changing options . The sound was surprisingly good for the size of the speaker . . We tested it over a two day period . Weather radio worked well to. Now it is the hurricane supplies and all are on standby for any approaching storm

I rarely give or read five star reviews, but this one comes close. It's a great little unit and has all the features you could want or possibly use in an emergency or portable unit. Its small but seems really solid and everything it claims is accurate. Why not five stars, two small reason - the solar battery charger and hand crank charging. Actually to solar unit is really a maintainer. Likewise it takes a lot of cranking (8 to 15 minutes) to charge the internal batteries. Both of these shortcomings are disclosed in the manual but neiIsther should be an issue if the unit is kept charged and ready for use. Finally the compass on the handle is a nice touch.

It arrived quickly and intact. Very portable, very well made, and easy to understand and use. The reception is great and easy to hear. I love the fact that it has five different power sources. I bought it for my daughter who lives in a rural area of Ohio that seems to get more than it's fair share of bad weather. She absolutely loved it and was so glad I purchased one. Definitely would buy again!

i have one already so when our organization decided to do emergency preparation presentations and give these to members i recommended this one...have spent several times in our shelter and living in a rural area this is the only way to get up today emergency information!

very handy as a portable radio - decent sound and picks up the stations in the area (Central Florida) - the solar battery is hard to drain and with the multiple backups, this thing is a little powerhouse.

Excellent radio quality and various light functions! It’s great to have so many alternative power sources, too, in case of different emergency (or daily use) circumstances. I haven’t tried the phone-charging function yet but am extremely please with this, especially after the aggravatingly tinny sound quality and weak, erratic lighting of an earlier emergency radio/light. This one is a pleasure to use and will be indispensable in case of real emergencies.

i do get weather stations with FM (and other stations) and Weather Band....and that's important to me...one of the main reasons i purchased the product. i like all the other extras which work absolutely fine. the only reason i'm not giving it five stars is cuz even with the antenna...i don't reach any short wave ... nor AM radio... guess it should get 4 and 1/2 stars.i will say i am out in the country...that certainly may make a difference.
