Cosmos Light Blue Protection Hard Case Cover Compatible with PS VITA 1000, Fits for Oval Start & Select Button Only (NOT for PSV 2000 Slim Version)

I bought this and the other one sold on here as the Crystal Case, and I gotta say this one while a little bulkier/thicker, is the best case you can buy before you start getting into the vinyl skins for the Vita. It allows it to fit in the zipper case that came with the 1st edition bundles very nice and snug and only causes the L and R buttons to be further in. The power and volume buttons are a bit deep however and will force you to use your fingernails or press pretty hard to get them to respond. But the blue looks very sharp and goes very nice with the black, it snaps on very easily and allows 100% access to the buttons and joysticks without any discomfort or rubbing/touching of the case. Everything lines up perfectly and I'm super happy with it. The other one is just a little too flimsy and easily pops off the Vita with a thumb lift and has cheap hinges that will disassemble easily but usually not while its one the Vita itself. It is a little thinner but not by much and the corner hooks aren't covered with plastic like the COSMOS case and gives you good access to the power/volume buttons but this one gives a good quality feel that I think you'll prefer and feel your Vita is safer in.

Its a basic case does its function so I give it 5 stars, looks nice and covers up the glossy black surface. not the strongest but if it holds up for a year and protects it for that long then it was a good investment, it does look really good though better than a clear one, not sure how well it will hold up to impacts like dropping it.

This is a great case although rather pricy. It clipped on easily and my Vita fit perfectly without any gaps or weak spots. Compared to my PSP case that I bought a long time ago from eForcity (much cheaper in every way, including the sturdiness), this is clearly a superior product. I don't mind spending the $$ to protect my even more $$$$ investment, especially if it now looks even nicer! I do wish it comes in more tinted shades like green, yellow, red, etc., etc. I would've been all over the green or yellow (or even buy different ones to switch around when mood strikes).Additionally I like how having the case made the vita just a smidgen thicker, which made it much easier to grab/handle. I noticed I was so worried about scratching it or touching it where I shouldn't with my greasy hands (due to sunscreen sometimes) that it made it harder for me to enjoy myself. Now that I have the case, not only do I not fear just grabbing it when I need to, but the slightly thicker object was easier to hold in my hands too. Note that I do not have large hands (i'm a 5'5" asian girl) but it did not change the fact that I found the Vita to be a little too thin for me to handle without the extra layer of the case. Maybe that's just me.Overall it's great!

This product wasn't acceptable, so much so that it is sitting in my trash can. It didn't fit together and was so cheaply made. I know for the price I shouldn't have expected better. I'll be buying a nice case instead of this train wreck.

I got the case yesterday and I must say that it looks fantastic on my white Vita. They only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because it doesn't close on the Vita properly. The top part of the case doesn't lock in properly, leaving a slight raised bump. Even if you press on it, won't do any good.As for how sturdy the case is...well...it's made of thin plastic. You drop your Vita, you can kiss it goodbye. The case won't protect it from a shock suck as accidental fall. But it'll protect the Vita from light scuffles and whatnot.Though I don't like the fact the case didn't fit properly on my Vita, I am happy with my purchase. As I've mentioned, it looks fantastic. If you're looking to buy a crystal case for Vita, this is the one you need to buy.

This case is great! Tons of space to fit other items into it as well, charger games etc.

It did fit on my new OLED Vita. But the top parts near the game slot were difficult to snap into place. I actually gave up trying to fit them together in the beginning because the rest of the case was already secure and fit fine. But then I decided to use a little more strength and it did finally connect the two little hinges. You should probably focus on those delicate ones first. Use with caution in.case you mess something up.

This is a phenomenal case for your playstation Vita. I personally like to have a form of protection on all my electronics. This provides excellent support for my Vita no matter where I take it and the color variety is great.Pros:-strong protection-easily to put on and take off without breaking.-doesn't block any buttons or the charging port-isn't bulky.Cons:honestly I only had 1 major concern with this one. I bought a speaker cradle for my vita as well so that I can listen to music and charge it. With this case on my Vita, it won't fit into the cradle.
