great sound easy set up if you have trouble getting the microphone to work. make sure you turn the mic volume up. there's separate volumes on the back of the speaker bass treble microphone for me. I didn't have the microphone volume up but I thought it was broke but I finally figured it out and turned it up so it's very easy setup works like a dream. I would definitely buy again

I purchased this speaker to have outdoor meetings for sporting event competitors (20-50 people). Right off the bat, I HAD to find a way to disable the "power on" that it shouts every time the unit is turned on. I tried what a few other reviewers suggested by holding down the Bluetooth button after turning on the unit, but that made no difference. However, if you hold that button long enough, various strings of letter and numbers will appear on the screen. I have no idea what any of them mean, but after messing with it for a bit, my unit no longer provides any voice notifications (and it has persisted through off/on cycles). It would be nice if Pyle would bother to explain any of this in the manual, but they unfortunately didn't. As an aside, if you hold the repeat button down (ellipse with arrows), it will display POFF or PON. I don't know what this means either, but thought I'd mention it. If you look at my second picture, you can see the tiny battery this thing comes with. I'm actually pretty impressed it can produce any sound with such a small battery. I was expecting some sort of SLA battery. Oddly enough, it DOES have a compartment in the base of the unit to accept a 12v 7-9ah battery, though they have provided no wiring to hook it up. If you look at pictures 3 and 4, I added a label (for any future users) and wiring to eventually install a 9ah battery. I simply spliced into the external 12v port wiring to run power to the battery compartment. I have not used the device enough to know what kind of battery life I can expect from the pre-installed battery, but I can assure you it would run for quite some time with a good SLA. All that said, the wireless mic seems to work fine. I put in 2 AA batteries (not included) and you simply turn on the mic and it works. I spoke into it fairly close to the front of the speaker, and it appears to do a pretty good job of not producing feedback. Sadly, as others have noted, the EQ knobs have no effect on the included mic, which is a really silly oversight. Luckily, the mic output has a decent sound, so it's not a huge deal, but still something that should have worked. I will probably never use any of the USB, SD card, or Bluetooth functions, so I can't say how well they work. I have not tried the remote (although I did verify the included battery is functional. In case anyone cares, you can verify the function of ANY IR remote with your cell phone camera. Just open your camera app, and point the remote at your camera while pushing buttons. It will flash a purplish-red, as your cell camera is able to detect infrared).

Far exceeded my expectations. This was purchased to replace a similar but much larger PA Speaker that I had purchased years ago at one of those warehouse stores. Used for a retreat and it worked perfectly. Great sound, lighter than my previous unit and the reason I purchased was having a battery. Microphone worked great without an issue. My only small compliant was the constant notifications when you connected the unit to Bluetooth that it had to answer that in a woman's voice each and every time. Wish it had the option to change to a simple tone or completely remove the alert all together. Speaker has great volume, used in an outdoor setting a few times. Happy with purchase.

The company offers a warranty that they make near impossible to use, they want information that is near impossible to get, like a picture of the invoice, last I knew Amazon does not send an invoice with the purchase of anything I've ever ordered from them. I've sent screen shots of the purchase, not good enough, I've sent pictures of the labels of the actual product box and the box it was shipped in, not good enough for the company, so now I have a huge bluetooth speaker that won't connect to tooth, and I'm out $160 because it's past to time Amazon will let me return it. They are more concerned with who to blame for the problem, then making sure a customer is happy by solving the problem. BUYER BEWARE!

The product has some good features and it all seems to work. I hope it lasts a long time. I got it to use for my birthday party in a few weeks. It’s nice that it has the Bluetooth option and it paired with my phone pretty easily and automatically. The users manual needs a lot more instructions as well. When it is charging the indicator light comes on red but I don’t know if it will turn green when it’s full. I like the size and shape of it just wish microphone and speaker were more sturdy but it seems to be a good deal for the price and quality and it should hopefully serve its purpose.

We needed this speaker to serve as a backup in case the main sound system in our meditation hall failed during one of our events. I don't have any background experience with this kind of thing, so I asked a friend who is a performing musician and he recommended this make and model. It works fine so it satisfies our needs completely. But more than that, I want to praise their customer service, it was truly impressive. I had some beginner questions, and based on my long experience with customer service calls, I took a deep breath and called the company and was elated to find that the guy who took my call was thorough and helpful, answered all my questions patiently, even called me back later to follow up on one of my questions. HE called ME! I'm still amazed.

This is an amazing piece of kit for the money. Great sound, easy Bluetooth connection with microphone and iPad. Definitely recommend. Holds charge well and light weight. Versatile for all occasions. When the professional’s speakers stopped working at a wedding this saved the day - everyone was impressed by it.

Me ha resultado bastante útil pues lo utilizo en exteriores para impartir clases a grupos pequeños de 10 a 15 personas y el audio llega bien a todos. También lo he probado con grupos de hasta 40 personas y no ha defraudado. Lo único que hay que tener en cuenta es que si lo conectamos al ordenador y subimos el volumen al máximo no debemos tener al máximo el volumen del altavoz porque se genera cierta distorsión. El micrófono inalámbrico se conecta perfectamente pero no lo utilizo y el mando a distancia no he sabido encontrarle uso. No sé si ha venido defectuoso pero, la verdad, no me hace falta porque controlo la música directamente desde el ordenador o el móvil. La conexión bluetooth va bien pero no se debe alejar demasiado el equipo porque la señal se pierde. Para el precio que tiene lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados.

Als ich es ausgepackt hab, dachte ich voll billig Plastik. Dann ist mir ja eingefallen, dass es transportiert werden soll. Sound voll gut. Verarbeitung voll ok. Fernbedienung super... leider nur von vorne. Aber man kann nicht meckern. Das Mikrofon ist besser als ich erwartet habe. Wenn man ein shure oder ein anderes dynamisches Mikrofon hat, kommt der Sound noch ein tick knackiger. Selbst die presets eq bei der Fernbedienung sind brauchbar. Wenn man mot der Fernbedienung reguliert, resettet sich alles, wenn man die analogen Knöpfe reguliert. Top. Ich bin zwar sonst nur Profi pa gewohnt. Aber für Garten, Garage oder Nachbarn ärgern ist das Teil 😎 cool. Ich mag auch das schlichte Design ohne diese bunten lichter Sorry für die Rechtschreibung und Fehler, ich bin aber gerade zu faul zu schreiben 😉
