I want you to know that If I was younger I would happily offer to bear your children, alas I am not, so instead.....
Dear Inventor of HTP Full Length Heel Seats with Fascia Bar Technology, Truthfully I had absolutely NO expectations that these orthodics would do anything for me, as NOTHING I have tried over the last two years has, but THROWING MY MONEY into the FLAMING PIT of "Plantar Fasciitis Pain Relief Promises" has become quite a hobby of mine. I don't truthfully even know why I threw them into my cart. I think it was the "Patented Fascia Bar Technology" description that caught my eye, and I guess I figured "why not". I have already tried the K Tape, 3 different boots, 4 different facia braces, the Strassburg Sock, various compression type contraptions, the foam wedge for calf stretching, the foot rocker, various highly rated heel cups, 6 different brands of orthotics... What is one more addition to the "drawer of dissapointed pain relief hopes". I half heartedly sent them to my cart. I even... almost... took... them.. back... out! A Little Plantar Faciiatis Story: A long time ago I walked. I walked for miles and miles, over hill, over dale, up and down the walking trails. I loved walking. I was healthier, and happy! My feet evidently...were not. They suddenly started to hurt... and over a short time, got worse and worse. So I got some super walking shoes... but that did not help, and eventually, I was forced to give up my walking. No more hills, no more dales, no more trails...but despite my lack of activity, the pain in my feet continued. I started having trouble just standing at work. I really had damaged myself it seemed, and developed a very bad case of Plantar Fasciitis. Getting out of bed in the morning was agony, and I could barely stand by the afternoon each day at work. I iced, I stretched, I took anti inflammatories until I thought my stomach would bleed out. I tried 3 different pairs of the best support sneakers out there, with 3 different pairs of the best rated orthotics. I spent hundreds of dollars on orthotic gel foot mats for my work stations. My right foot got better. My left... did not. Six months more of hobbling about, and I decided enough was enough, and forked out the money to see a podiatrist. He said "plantar fasciitis can take time to heal", and suggested that I keep stretching my calf muscles and stay on the anti inflammatories. I ran around my life (limped rather) like a track star. Stretching my calves, at every available moment like I was getting ready to run a marathon, and still continually suffered pain, that turn almost crippling in its intensity from the middle of the day on. I limped through my work days, and spent my evenings on my couch, with my foot on ice, thinking that free access to morphine would be so very, very nice. In desperation I went to a foot and ankle surgeon, a specialist, who gave me the same advice. " Plantar Fasciitis takes time to heal, keep stretching." I almost cried in despair saying " I HAVE been stretching. It is not helping!" He said, " I can only tell you what I see, and I see that your calf muscle is tight, and your faciia is inflamed. (via ultrasound) " He gave me a pair of hard orthotics, that his office carried, and sent me out to buy yet another pair of supportive shoes, (5th pair), with a few brand name recommendations, and of course advised my staying on the anti inflammatories. Follow up visit, another month later, still in agony from middle of the day on, getting out of bed in the morning is still agony, still icing every night, maybe a little bit of an improvement? He advised an even more supportive shoe, and for me to just keep doing what I was doing. Off I went for my 6th pair of $120 shoes, thinking about whether I should insist on trying the shots that I have read are so very painful, and about the option of surgery, the cost and recovery time involved, and weather or not I could afford it. Another month passed, and I had started to have horrible and constant hip pain as well, that turned out was being caused by the orthotics. I stuck it out for a few more weeks, before I said enough is enough of them. I had about enough of everything really, and went back to my most comfortable supportive shoes, which seemed to give me the least amount of pain in this shoe saga, and stopped the ridiculous stretching, and left myself alone. It had been two years, and I finally faced up to the fact that nothing in the norm of treatment was working for me, and I was either going to have the surgery, or stay crippled with this pain forever. I felt like If I did not have the surgery, I was going to end up in a wheelchair, as I was already using a cane to get around some nights. This was no way to live. I was 40 something not 95! Enter random half hearted decision to try HTP Full Length Heel Seats with Fascia Bar Technology: I put these orthotics into my shoes yesterday and last night, after 10 hours on my feet, I realized that I was standing in my kitchen at the end of the day, and my foot did not hurt. The middle of the day had come and gone with lack of my usual painful limp..I thought "Well maybe I'm just having a weird really good day or something. I'm not going to get to excited yet. Let's see what tomorrow brings". Tonight, after another 10 hour day on my feet, I still do not hurt. I can put all my weight on my bad foot, and press down, and it barely aches. I seriously, cannot Freeeeakkkking believe it! So inventor of HTP Full Length Heel Seats with Fascia Bar Technology, I want you to know that If I was younger I would happily offer to bear your children, alas I am not, so instead, I will just say "Thank You From The Soles Of My Feet" . I cannot tell you how horrible it is to be in constant, horrible pain for so long, and how much it means to finally find something that works. I don't know why it works for me. If it is your special facia bar technology, or not. I don't even care. If it was because you ground up magic faeries and sprinkled the dust of their little mangled bodies into these insoles I would still love and worship your product. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!! Happy dance! (because I can!) Small note. These do run slightly small. I wear a size 9, and although these say they fit to women size 10 they are a little short to the toe. However they do not irritate my toes at all being slightly short. If you wear over a size 9 you should order up.

RELIEF
These are amazing pain relief for Plantar Fasciitis. As important as the orthotic you select, is the shoe you wear them in. If you haven't been satisfied with using an insert in shoes you previously have worn, it might help to put them in a new shoe that you shop for with the inserts in hand. In my experience I have to buy a shoe a size larger. I wear a 9 but have to buy a 10 to accommodate the extra height and sometimes width of an orthotic. My podiatrist also showed me that for the PF I have with my high arch I need to look for shoes that are "stable." Meaning, the shoe should not be able to be twisted in a wringing fashion, it should be pretty firm and resist the toe box bending back toward the foot, and if I'm buying an athletic shoe, I look for one that is manufactured specifically for stability (Many brands now say it on the box.) The best support and pain relief I've ever had was in a hiking boot - but hiking boots aren't appropriate for everyday in my life:) I also look for a shoe that has a removable insole. It is uncomfortable and hard to keep the orthotic from moving around on top of an existing insole. Those are the three biggies for me (go a size up, choose a stable shoe, remove the original insole.) Another thing I have encountered is that is takes two weeks to a month to adapt to a new orthotic. I have worn orthotics for 11 years. My first set of orthotics felt great after just a week. But as I've gone too long changing out an old orthotic once pain returned, or tried to wear sandals for the summer without enough support, my feet have taken longer to "love" a new set of orthotics. My last professional pair of orthotics felt terrible for almost a month before the pain became significantly less. I love these heel seat orthotics and they are inexpensive enough to buy a pair for two or three pairs of shoes and not have to switch them out. They feel better to me if they can really get seeded in a pair of shoes. Sometimes when I switch them they don't feel as good- like I haven't gotten them in just right. These are very stable and don't slip or rock in my shoes like the 3/4 length orthotics I've had. I bought the Large size (Women's 11-12) and they fit in my size ten Asics without any trimming. I have been wearing these inserts for two weeks and one foot is already pain free. My more troublesome foot is still a little uncomfortable when I first put my shoes on, when standing after being off my feet for awhile, and are a little tired at the end of the day. It is improving day by day. Initially I bought the size just smaller (women's 9-10) and they were not only too short, but were a pair that had been cut and returned. But the seller was fabulous in refunding the purchase and I got a new pair in less than a week.

Love em!
I'm loving these insoles! I used Spenco insoles for years and was always pretty happy with them. When my plantar fasciitis went away, I got out of the habit of buying new insoles and just stuck with the factory one. Flash forward 10 years and my plantar fasciitis has returned. This time I decided to do some research before buying to figure out what products out there are designed to address plantar fasciitis specifically. Heel That Pain quickly rose to the top of the list, alongside competitors at 3-4 times the price, so I decided to give them a shot. I'm not gonna lie, the feel of the support bar took some getting used to. When I set out for my daily walk I felt a bit wobbly, and the bones in my feet felt like they popped a few different places. But by the end of my walk, that odd sensation was replaced by the realization that my heels didn't hurt! I was an immediate believer after that. I've been telling everyone how quickly and thoroughly these insoles have improved my heel pain. It has taken a few weeks, but I can now once again hop out of bed in the morning without heel pain. The only downside, which echoes some other reviewers, is that I have big ol' feet and the XLs don't quite go to the end of my shoe. I also wear a brand of trail running shoe with a super wide toe box, so between those two factors I have a bit of a void between the end of the insole and the front of my shoe. Nothing worth replacing the insoles over because they're otherwise amazing, but I would love to see Heel Than Pain release insoles that can be cut to fit for big shoes. All in all, fantastic arch support, fantastic value, and exactly what I was looking for to address my plantar fasciitis.

Very good orthotic
These orthotics do a very good job of relieving plantar fasciitis pain, and the arch support is excellent. It takes a few days to get used to them. The size medium runs a little small. I wear a size 8 to 8.5 shoe and the medium was a little small (and narrow) for me. I now buy the size large and cut them down to the size I need. I’ve worn a lot of over-the-counter orthotics, including some expensive ones. These work the best for me.

Very Goods Products
I recently had the opportunity to try the Heel That Pain insoles, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the results. These insoles have been a game-changer for me, providing exceptional comfort and support for my feet, especially my heels. The cushioning and arch support they offer have significantly reduced the pain and discomfort I used to experience while walking or standing for extended periods. The quality of the materials and the design of the insoles are top-notch, and I appreciate how they seamlessly fit into my shoes without causing any bulkiness. I highly recommend Heel That Pain insoles to anyone looking for effective relief from heel pain and improved overall foot comfort.

WOW! These really worked! UPDATED
I've suffered from plantar-fasciitis for two months - sometimes too painful to stand up. It was getting very slowly better but each time I'd go for a little longer walk I'd have a very sore foot when I got back and sometimes the next day too. I tried locally available inserts from the pharmacy and they helped a little, but not much. Got these inserts today and put them in my walking shoes. They fit but my foot just barely fits too. I'm going to get another pair of shoes a half-size bigger. This morning I started walking and WOW - no pain!!!!! Couldn't believe it. They are not as soft silicone ones inserts I got at the pharmacy and the heel was thinner so I didn't think they were going to be much help. But there it is. No pain. I walked about a half K (not power walk yet) and came back with an enormous grin. Get em. UPDATE After wearing these for a couple of months I no longer have any foot pain even when walking barefoot at home! I did get the next size up for my shoes and now they are super comfortable. I use them in my walking shoes and every day go for 3 to 6 km walks on rough terrain, or for hours of shopping. Before I got these I tried everything I could find on the Internet to solve the problem - exercises, diet, stretching, supplements - nothing helped until these fixed the problem in seconds. No kidding, if you have plantar-fasciitis get these!!!!

Hopeful
The arch in my left foot is very low, I am slightly on the heavy side and at times I have to stand and walk a lot at work. I was sceptical about these insoles, but my plantar fasciitis was getting really bad and after reading some of the reviews, I decided to buy a pair, to use in my boots at work. The first day I used the insoles, naturally there was more pressure at the arch, which can also be painful, but surprisingly I did not feel any heel pain. Note that I did not use the insoles outside of work, in my regular shoes/slippers and at home, hence would not have the support and therefore would experience heel pain. On the 2nd day I was still enjoying a pain free day at work, however, on the 3rd day of wearing the insoles I started feeling the heel pain again. I don't want to give up so easily, so I'll continue wearing them for another few weeks.....

Very, very, very high arch support; nice forefoot cushioning
I like the HTP heel cups, but because I have high arches (and my PF pain is worst in my arch) I need arch support in addition to a heel seat, so these seemed worth trying. The good: The cushioning in the insole in the metatarsal area is actually REALLY good ... better than any other insole I've tried. For my super ouchy feet, the cushion in the forefoot is a significant improvement over other insoles. But the jury's still out. I don't feel the "bar" in these the way I do with other HTP products, and that "bar" is part of what's supposed to make HTP products effective against plantar fasciitis. If you have extremely high arches, these may be the insoles for you. The arch support is VERY high. I have high arches (as in, my arch never touches the arch support area in most shoes and with most non-custom insoles, even when fully loaded). And with these, my arch is in full contact with the support area even at rest. The arch is also SO high they affect my body mechanics too much to run in (at least for now); and I would not wear them all day / for long periods of time as a result. Maybe I'll get used to having my arch supported? But it's a pretty big body mechanics change, which I'm feeling in my lower back, hips, hamstrings and calves even with limited wear, so I'll definitely ease into these and use them part of the time with less dramatic insoles / heel cups the rest of the time. I really wish I could find something in between these and the green insoles from another major manufacturer (which are my standard even though the arches are too low to be supportive for my feet), with this product's nice forefoot cushion and a high (but not quite SO high) arch ... but so far, no luck.
