Light is bright, no doubt. In my 1997 GMC C1500 3rd brake light application, the stock electrical connector has a top two-prong and bottom two-prong socket application. The top is positive voltage and the bottom is negative. The lamp has four prong electrical connection points. The top and opposite bottom are electrically identical. In the 1997 application, this is a short circuit. I had to make two insulators to attach to the lamp so the short circuit situation is removed. One insulator can go on either side of the top and the other will be opposite on the bottom. Hope this helps anyone having short circuit or blown fuse issues when installing.

These are so much brighter than the standard 921 bulbs. For my cargo lights, it called for a 912 bulb, but these did fit. So, I replaced the 3rd brake light and also the two cargo bulbs in the same housing. Definitely an upgrade.

Super bright. Worked for my 19 forester but did not work for my 98 GMC 3rd break light/cargo.Helps with seeing at night in reverse.

Big difference from the standard lighting. Very bright and seems to be a pure white rather than a yellow or the typical blue with inexpensive LED lighting.
