Good quality from bag to bag fed to bird for probably ten years

My happy hungry Macaw girl has been eating this for 20 years and likes it . She’s been through many health challenges (not diet related) and should have not survived but I think this food keeps her strong, healthy & able to recuperate. I’m her 7th owner (poor girl!) She went through a time when she was laying eggs (undesired behavior) & while being x-rated by the avian specialist; broke a wing. She was then diagnosed with a terminal illness 6 years ago. She’s survived it all with her great appetite & great attitude. 💕

This product is a standard part of our Amazon parrot’s diet. She’s a healthy 25 years and going strong.

My two umbrella cockatoos can be finicky about pellets. They will literally throw food out of their cage if they don't like it. The absolutely love the Pretty Bird Food. It was a great value too. It is rare to find an 8 lb bag of bird food for this price!

My 45 year old Red Lored Amazon, Bogart, has been eating Pretty Bird Select for at least 25-30 years. To be honest, I liked P.B. better before it was acquired by Kaytee. That being said Bogey eats it and likes it. I do not feed him P.B. exclusively but it's a needed compliment to fresh veg, fruits, nuts (just a little), seeds (again, just a little), egg, and yes, meat. He's very healthy with clean molts and plenty of bloom. I credit his diet for that. As to value for money all bird formulas are way too expensive for what it is, all brands, not just P.B. As to thickness, I'm not sure exactly what they mean by that. If they mean the physical thickness of each individual kibble, the sure the "thickness" is fine. But not as good as the round balls (berries) it was before Kaytee bought P.B. and turned it into a clone of their kibble. The most important thing is to get the right size for your bird.

My macaw has eaten this brand of pellets for years . I feed them to her whole,chopped up with nuts and fruit in birdie bread or even make a mash with them .She loves it

This is the main food I have been feeding my African gray for the past 24 years. It keeps him healthy. It's his favorite bird food. His favorite food is scramble eggs 🤣
