Creme Hairdress & Conditioner, 1.75 Ounce

When I was a little girl my mom always used Vitapointe on my hair, which was usually in braids or a high ponytail. One day I just googled Vitapointe and was surprised it is still being made. Now my hair is silver, short and coarse. I had to buy it and the smell took me straight back to my childhood. The product is still terrific and now my hair is smooth and shiny. I was afraid it might be greasy, but thankfully it’s not and also keeps the frizzies away. I couldn’t be happier with this wonderful product from the good old days. It is now my go to product everytime I wash and style my hair!

I'm a African American senior, and I have been using this since I was a teenager. My mother started me using this product as an alternative to those greasy pomades for men. It's more of a creme. Easy to apply. Your hair feels soft, and it doesn't leave a greasy spot on your pillow. Just apply a light amount, not too much at a time, and you will like the results.

With so many products on the market not many women notice the tube with the old school packaging and it is so hard to find, but it works as good as the other 'shine serums' out there but it isn't just for shine. It isn't silicone based. It is a cream conditioner. It helps your hair with each application. Make sure you rub it in your palms and finger tips first so it doesn't get concentrated in one place. The fragrance is clean but not overpowering or artificial smelling. It would be a shame if they stop making this. Do not know why Clairol didn't stay in the game, because this is a great product.

I like that I can use just a little of Vitapointe and get amazing results. I don’t like the Exorbitant cost increase for this product. I haven’t purchased it in 4 yrs because a 11oz jar lasted me that long. I went to purchase another 11 oz. Kar and the price $13 dollars 4yrs ago to $79 now. That’s outrageous. I refused to buy at that cost. So I purchase A 1.75 tube for a little over $30. That’s ridiculous too.,

It will hydrate fly aways, or hair that has experienced breakage,I absolutely love it, it won't get your hair oily, I use it as a finishing product

Great product keeping in it

This is OLD SCHOOL AWESOME! Starting buying because my mom in her 70's used this and grandma who is 98!! They both swear by it as being a great hair "dressing". OK so not my cup of tea but I tried it and was AMAZED!! ou use the tiniest bit for control and dry hair. My hair has been oily all my life but as the grey creeps I have used more products which have left me when dry hair and an oily scalp. Moisturizing shower type conditioners make your scalp oily and then you end up with greasy looking hair. The Vitapointe solves that problem. I shampoo every or every other day like normal and use a lightweight conditioner or 2 in 1 shampoo and them a pea sized dab thru my hair after I towel dry makes processed hair SOFT, silky and healthy looking. Start and the ends when applying.

I have used this hair cream for many years. I brought a jar with me when I moved here from Philadelphia. It’s different but I still used it. The hair cream seemed to contain more grease. My old jar is now empty but was not as greasy. The new product also smells a little different. Oh well!

I am given very positive comments about the condition of my hair when I use this product, something which I find very difficult to purchase from any other retailer.

Excellent product, just overpriced

Love the product, used for many years; however, I ordered "6" and have only received "1" can you tell me what has happened to the other "5" I ordered? This item is for a friend and she will be very disappointed if the other 5 do not arrive! Please respond.

I found it more greasy than the old make, also much more expensive.

Arrived on time and product seems to be good. Disappointed due to the misleading small print in the description , suggesting that the product would be supplied in a pack of 5 when only one tube arrived
