A book that explains the benefits, science and process of fasting in laymen's terms. It explains how fasting is beneficial for your body not only to lose weight but also to cure conditions such as type 2 diabetes, PCOS, fatty liver disease etc but also to prevent conditions and diseases such as Alzheimer's and Cancer. Eve, Megan and Dr. Fung have written a book that is easy too read and understand and helps you step by step to get into this way of life and thrive. I LOVE fasting! I've lost weight, I feel great and my relationship with food is so much healthier and doesn't rule my life any more. If you have already read Dr. Fung's "The Obesity Code", still get this book. Eve and Megan do a great job of bringing it back to real life situations that you can identify with. If you haven't read "The Obesity Code", buy both! This will change your life. I promise.

Highly recommend this great book!
This is an excellent book, very informative and highly motivating. Reading each author's chapters is very useful to gain a better perspective, such that I just successfully completed a 36 hour fast, my first of many to come. I now feel very equipped to continue on my weight loss journey. Am also enjoying the podcasts recommended in the book. Highly recommended.

Interesting but not so great at advocating thd 'clean ' fast
I've read this twice and it was quite useful buy as a vegan I really didn't like all the references to meat and broth!Its always good to know someone's back story and I enjoyed those parts more than the science bits .

great starter book for introducing fasting into your life!
Great book- breaks fasting down into easy, do-able steps. Great book for people who have never tried fasting, but have tried and failed at every diet going. Really explains well why all these diets don't work and why they never will!

Excellent book, practical, clear and straightforward
This book explains clearly the benefits of fasting and how to do it. I am so enthused after reading this book (I binge read (excuse the pun) over two days) I can’t wait to start fasting tomorrow.

Great intro to fasting
I have read Jason Fung's other books and they're full of science. They totally convinced me of the many benefits of fasting. This book is less science and more practical tips and case studies to help inspire and motivate you on your fasting journey.Well worth a read.
