Nice and solid. Great for desserts or appetizers. I purchaesd 100 because we had a big wedding rehearsal dinner at our home and they were perfect. I'll use them agaIn and again. Great quality and price -- and beats renting them from the caterer.

These are servacable plates at an inexpensive price. Well packed and undamaged. As others noted: - the unglazed bottom edges of a few had rough spots, taken care of with some 220 grit silicon carbide sand paper. As with any ceramic, these dishes should not be placed directly on a finished wood or other surface that could be scratched. Otherwise, the finish is fine. - a bit of an ivory color, not stark white. - relatively thin, easy to stack.

These are absolutely wonderful. My daughter was making a mess of my very expensive set of dishes and these are so wonderful for everyday use for sandwiches a quick taco whatever it is she dreams up. Dishwasher and microwave safe no chips after a month of use and clean attractive neutral design Love them!
