This is a very good bag for the money. I would even say it's a great bag. The people that are having issues with water intrusion into the bag are loading it onto their car facing the wrong direction. There are two ways you can put it on your roof where water and air will be forced into the bag and two ways where no water can enter the bag. Think about it before you mount it and you will be fine :)

I have used this for several years on several road trips. Have had to replace the securing straps due to the small plastic buckle breaking but the bag itself is durable, easy to manage, easy to clean and store. We have had all our camping equipment and firewood inside. Completely waterproof. Durable zippers

Super good cargo carrier, carried so much and it was all kept in place, took it on a 2k+ mile road trip through the Pacific Northwest and didn’t have a single problem!

I would not recommend using the straps it came with. Get yourself a set of ratchet straps as they are much better than the plastic connections on the straps. The bag itself works well strapped to the top of a car driving over 1200 miles over two days. Held up well the items were dry inside even going through rain. Bag appears to be a a good thick material with easy to use zippers and an over the zipper section of waterproofing.

Very durable and waterproof.

The bag was ok but not great. It was hard to load, hard to tie down to the roof rack and too soft for they conditions. By the first day, the wind had worn off the rubber coating due to wind buffeting. Hind sight being 20/20 we should have went with a hard liner.

Great cargo bag for quick or short trips, Make sure you put the zipper to the rear of the vehicle otherwise you might get water forced into it from driving winds..

Horrible do NOT buy. This had wet paint of some kind sprayed on top surface that messed up so many of our things I was packing and the clothes I was wearing. Avoid. This is a poor quality BAD product. Might be dangerous with the paint that leaked. Very very cheap product. This needs to be reported for product safety. Amazon should not carry such a poor poor quality defective material.

The price point tells you what you need to know. Mine began falling apart after first use. It's now covered in gorilla tape and seam reinforcement. Save your $$. Get the Thule.
