Polar Bears (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 1)

The National Geo for Kids readers are all very kid-friendly, informational text books, that can easily be used in a classroom setting!

My son and I love the National Geographic Readers. My son (8) is an ESL learner and these books are great for learning English and reading. He loves Polar Bears and watches on TV, but doesn't always understand the English. This book really helps him improve his English reading while having fun at the same time. I love the format of these books, with lots of visual guides. We're on 9 books already and still going.

I bought this book for my son to take to school when he presented his diorama for polar bears. He loved the book and it made presentation easier to show pictures and to talk about his presentation to 2nd grade class. Explains about the animal and facts.

I bought several of these books to help the kinds learn to read while also learning something on animals or other subjects they read on. So far the kids really love these books and reading is a lot of fun for them.

Grandkids love these NG books. Will continue to purchase. High quality and wonderful topic(s) for their learning.

Children loved these. We tutor some upper elementary children that struggle to read or are acquiring English. They loved this series.

ホッキョクグマについて色々と教えてくれる本です。 写真がたっぷりで、生態についての説明、さらには使われている言葉の説明もあって丁寧です。 小学生低学年だと一人で読むのは大変かもしれません。でも、眺めるだけでもいいのかな、と 思います。 まずは一緒に読んでくれる大人がいると、ベストですけどね。 眺めるだけでも、とにかく楽しんでもらえたら、といった感じの本です 動物好きのお子さんにはいいかもしれません。
