Cuban coffee in a percolator - perfect!!
Pros: It’s gorgeous! It makes an amazing pot of coffee that’s head and shoulders better than drip. It is super hot coffee so take your time with that first delicious sip. It’s incredibly easy to use. Durable unit that looks amazing on the counter. The scent of percolated coffee is heavenly. Starts right up and moves along in the percolation process without hesitation. Cons: Not really cons per se, but things to note. It is hot. The percolator gets hot. The glass top gets hot. It seems to take longer than a traditional drip style coffee maker but not a whole lot longer. The percolating action creates a wet grounds mess on top of the basket. This could be user error - I may have added too much coffee. I will try a paper filter designed for percolators and change the grind to see if that minimizes the mess. I like my coffee strong so this may somewhat unavoidable but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Your mileage may vary but if coffee sends you to the bathroom, you may experience an acceleration in that process because this is pure unadulterated and strong coffee making its way through your system. I highly recommend this beautiful and hard working percolator. You’ll never go back to a regular coffee maker.

LOVE this percolator!!!
I am a BIG fan of percolators! I was in need of a new one & my 'favorite' one was not available, so I took a chance on this one. I'm SO glad I did! #1 - the 'glass' top really is GLASS! Not plastic like all the others. #2 - It has a 3-prong plug - both to the unit and to the wall. Most others have 2. #3 - It has an on/off switch. Nice feature! #4 - It says 12 cup capacity, so imagine my surprise to find out that it's actually more like a 14-15 cup! (Although you can do just 12!) #5 - The pour spout is practically non-drip! Even my hubby (who ALWAYS manages to drip coffee everywhere when he pours) is amazed. The only "annoying" thing I can say about this percolator is the 'bubbling' noise it makes once it's finished perking. But you get used to it. The finish is very nice! Wipes off easily and fits in nicely with my 'retro' kitchen (translation: rather old-fashioned!) I've had percolators for the last 7 years and this one is by far the best! I bought it on sale but would pay full price to replace it - when I have to! (They just don't make 'em like they used to!) :)

DISTURBING MY LIFE!!!! VERY UNFORTUNATE!!!
Looks better than works. Boiling is ok, but Im using it only for a couple of month, and in first two weeks of use I’ve noticed at the bottom inside the kettle where the hitting element, it is made of some kind aluminum, gets rusty-corroded, and there is no way to clean it off!! First of all, the hole is too tiny to get in there with any tools, like a small brush, etc. I’ve already hurt, tear the skin off my fingers trying to apply some more pressure on those rusty spots inside the element, because brush does not work well. But, after all, next time you make a coffee two-three times and rusty spots coming back, and now more off them!! Also, because of the design of the body inside of the kettle, when washing the kettle, there is no way to get rid of all of the water. So, Im shaking it to get those last few drops out to make sure I will not get soap in my coffee. The problem that causing this is banded top of the kettle, and every time you turn it up side down to splash the water out, it comes inside that banded ring inside on the very top, and when it back down that water like amount of a tea spoon comes back to the bottom. And Im trying to get read of it thru the nose, but there is rim around the hole too…!!! LETS LAUGH TOGETHER! ..;))) So, Im “playing” with that every day cleaning for at least 10 minutes, before next brewing! Also, looks like that outside copper color is started getting pale blemishes of disappearing color, not too obvious yet at this point of time, but I already can see it. Im an artist painter, so it is my ability to see those things.. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Time passed and I don't think I can return this, but Im already looking for the Italian brand brewer, same as my friends using for years! But Im an artist…;))) -so I wanted some more esthetics to it… —WRONG! Better get that was already proven! The other one IS NOT “ugly”, it is just a regular stainless look! After such experience, my opinion and advice would be: Don't buy this one! Not until they work out design and usability! Also, THERE IS NO AUTO SHUT OFF!! P. S. I will try and make some video.

Love it
I purchased this to stop using the plastic k cup machine I had, while removing more plastics from our home. I have had this several months, nearly a year. I love it! Makes amazing coffee, very attractive and easy to pour. I use unbleached brown coffee filters with it to help keep the ground out of the coffee. The interior is easy to clean as well.
