It made my face feel clean and soft after use. My routine: I first washed with noxema, then used this, then rosewater spray, then my serum. The instructions tell you to clean your face before using it, so it's not a facial cleanser by itself. To make it clear (especially after seeing a review claiming someone used it on their face and got the little pieces but then on the hand and did NOT) the pieces that end up all over your face when using this are NOT your skin coming off! If you pay attention to the product information and photos area, you will see that the cream is filled with cotton. The cotton balls up as you massage it on the skin. Then the pieces of cotton rub against your skin to gently (very gently) exfoliate. The only reason you wouldn't see them ball up would be if your skin is too wet, and the water dilutes the cream too much. After 1 use, I couldn't tell if this exfoliated my face or not. If it did, it was so mild that I couldn't see it. However, after patting dry, my face felt soft and looked nicer. Hopefully with long term use it will help my skin get a deeper clean, and brighten it more than my routine without this. I have severe rosacea, and cannot use any exfoliants that contain hard pieces or anything harsh. This didn't cause any irritation on my face, which is nice. Exactly why I bought this kind. I will continue to use it, and recommend it.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this product, but the reviews seemed legit. I like this product & plan to buy it again once I run out of my 1st bottle. It is a thin Creamy liquid so squeeze slowly and in quarter size dollops. I apply to different sections of my face, one at a time. It doesn't spread far, so focus on each quadrant of your face. Really work it in where your makeup or dirt builds up or where you have deep pores. It's super gentle - I don't have sensitive skin but I feel absolutely no irritation from it. There's surprisingly no scent; it's clean and does the job - you'll feel crumbles of what feels like dirt; is it dead cells? Idk & idc. I just know my face is glowing when I am out of the shower (it's where I prefer to keep it once I've allowed my pores to open up). My face is smooth; soaks up moisturizer & my pores appear clean. My skin: I have large pores with oily face & sun spots on my cheeks from younger years of no spf. Still sporadically deal with adult acne on my chin - this is not for that. But that's okay. I use this once or twice twice week for a refresh. Make sure to remove makeup prior bc it doesn't clean; it exfoliates. 😊 I'm happy I found this product! I am giving 4 stars for sensitive skin simply bc I cannot answer to every one's skin type.
