Fits into dorman and oem housing U need to push the pin slightly and gently inside before installing in housings Works good but u need fan tuning to get stable temp if u dont its ok too but recommended Car : charger 3.6 2011

Works well and is pretty easy to install on these cars. To remove the thermostat from the housing your press down on the plate at the end of the spring, and turn counter-clockwise. I am using a Trinity T2 and adjusted the car's tune so that the fans engage @ Low: 190F, Med: 200F, High: 210F My car easily runs 20-30F cooler.

This thermostat was great for about a year, then it just kinda disintegrated. Honestly it caused quite a bit of damage. The quality was not there at all. For a thermometer that coasts almost $80. I expected so much more.

2012 Jeep JK, received item quickly, I was a lil confused when I opened the box to notice the thermostat does not come with a spring?!? I went to Ripp's website to see the product details, 1st I was disappointed to find out I spent $20 more on Amazon than ordering it from them direct, 2nd it does not come with a spring. The JK's have an analog temp guage so I will need to get a lazer thermo gun to get accurate temp reading

So right now our weather is colder than normal (30° F) but my jku 3.6 is definitely running 20-25° cooler than before… installed today after I touched 231° , while outside temps were at 44°, now it’s running at 188-192°. Will update in few weeks and see how it does.
