Super Color Sinking Cichlid Pellets, 2mm Small Pellets, 8 oz

I don’t know why they make pallets that float for cichlids, sickles do not like to eat on the surface. Also, a lot of the pellets out there tend to be huge. This is perfect. They are small. They sink to the bottom, and cichlids who tend to like eating around rocks and on the ground love it. My fish are healthy and colorful, great product.

If you have Blood Red Parrot Cichlids, Polar Blue Parrot Cichlids, or any of a host of other fish that can show enhanced coloration WITH the proper food ... THIS is the food! On top of some top-notch ingredients are the all important Astaxanthin and Canthaxanthin, both of which are derived from yeasts and algaes, and are responsible for the most intense colors found in fish. This took my Blood Red Parrots from a pale-orange-ish color to deep orange-red in about 3 weeks time. I expect the color to deepen further over time. Similarly with Polar Blues, same thing, but in the bluer spectrum. Works, really, for nearly ANY fish that can exhibit color enhancing (which often happens just during courtship). My Electric Blue Acaras went from ho-hum to BOLD in under 2 weeks. The ONLY thing you need to keep in mind: This food is offered in multiple sizes. I like the 2mm size for smaller fish, under 3" or so; and for fish somewhat larger, the 4mm size works well. I usually put both sizes in, so that they eat the 2mm pellets first, and can nibble on the larger 4mm pellets throughout the day. The catfish look like they're playing soccer with the larger pellets, as they nibble it and pass it amongst themselves. Great for big Oscar fish

My fish loves these! I mix them with larger floating pellets to keep everybody top to bottom happy. Yes I would recommend these.

Fish love it and really brings out the color of the fish

I have a Red Spot Severum, Green Severum, Electric Blue Acara, German Blue Rams, and a Keyhole Cichlid. These sinking pellets are perfect for the small-mouth fish like the juvenile Severums, but the Acara, Rams and Keyhole love them also. Surprisingly, my Rainbow Shark nibbles at them, and seems to like them as well. All my fish are thriving, and are brightly colored. Of course, I also feed them bloodworms and dried shrimp, and I maintain the aquarium faithfully. I also have a few Julii Cory Cats to clean up after them. Highly recommended. 5 Stars .

These pellets are just the perfect size for my fish. Worth the money.

The price of this fish pellets is much more expense ,if compare to other items can be find on Amazon. The delivery is on time and fast. But this item is not returnable.

My convict cichlid loves this food and it sins to the bottom which is great . The only downfall is i overfeed them by alot one day and the whole tank was unbelievably cloudy

My fish ate it, but the container is trash, the lid doesn’t stay on as the threads are trash. Ended up adding it to a ziploc

These pellets are a lot smaller than I thought they would be (my bad), however they also sink very fast. My cichlid prefers when food floats for a few seconds/minutes before eating it.

Pumpkinseed loves them. They don't sink without some force, however.
