Perfect for holding books in place on bookshelves and have great stability. They are sturdy and that makes them great if you mingle in heavy books. I will buy these again for other bookcases I have.

These are a little more flimsy than I expected. They are not suitable for heavy files or books that lean on the bookend. They work well for smaller, lightweight items.

These are exactly what I was hoping for. Needed something to support large art books as well as DVDs. Perfect! Nice weight and they just fade away so you don't notice them. I also used them on some antique bookends that kept sliding from the weight of the books. Just sat my antique bookends in front of them. Worked great. Price was more than reasonable too. Received two days after ordering.
