Excellent for wiping off dried polishes & waxes
Let me start off by saying that I've spent quite a bit of time online researching different microfiber towels. What you need to be aware of is that there is a huge difference in the quality of microfiber towels available online and in stores. Now, depending on the use you have for the towel should also depend on the type of towel you go with. If your like me and your looking for a towel to use on the exterior of your vehicle, then you should be looking for one that will be gentle on your clearcoat. If you think that the microfiber towels you find at your local auto parts or hardware stores are of good quality, think again! They're not! The type you will find in these stores will most likely be made in China ( not Korea) which are usually of inferior quality. The ones from South Korea on the other hand are not. They are the best you will find in terms of quality. Now, notice I said "most" microtowels from China are of inferior quality? You heard that correct. Not all are. There are a few out there (these included) that are of decent quality and will not scratch your clearcoat. Here's the thing. If your one of those people who have to have the very best. Then by all means, go with the ones from Korea. Just be prepared to spend a pretty penny for them lol. If on the other hand your looking for a more economically priced microfiber towel that is not quite the best, but is far better than most of the ones coming from China, then these are for you. You will not find a better microfiber towel from China than these I promise you that. The thing that is of importance here is that these towels have the same amount and type of materials (70% polyester/30% polyamide) as the ones from South Korea. This is most likely because the materials they're made from are coming from South Korea. Sure, they may not be quite as soft as the ones made in Korea (due to the manufacturing process being slightly different) but they're pretty darn close. I know because I also have the more exspensive ones from Korea. Indeed, these towels are manufactured in China, but it's my belief that the materials are actually from South Korea. The only difference being the way in which they are manufactured. The only other thing that sets these towels apart from the more expensive micro's manufactured in Korea, is that they aren't edgeless. That doesn't really matter imo though because the outside is lined with silk, so they won't scratch your paint either way. That, and the fact that they still have the tags on them, but you can just pull them off with a gentle tug. Having said all this. These are excellent microfiber towels for the price. If your buying these for your vehicle. I suggest using them ONLY for wiping off dried polishes & waxes. Use the waffle weave micro's for liquids (detail spray, water, etc.) and the less expensive micro's for your interior. Remember to wash your microfiber towels before you first use them and always wash them separately from your other micro's in a detergent that doesn't contain perfumes or dyes to prevent bleeding and lint buildup. I prefer using Woolite myself. And no, you don't need to use special microfiber soap! Also, NEVER wash them with regular bath towels or you'll really have a lint problem! NEVER dry them with high heat in the dryer either! Use low heat for four mins to fluff them. Then hang them up to air dry. And last but not least. NEVER USE FABRIC SOFTENER ON THEM!!!

Thick and durable, wash easily.
These are excellent premium, thick micro-fiber cloths. Best on the market for serious detailers and car/aircraft aficionados.

Good for washing paint and interior detail
Very nice towels for the car. I use them to wash using a method to fold them into quarters so I have 8 usable sides before throwing into the used bucket and moving on to another fresh towel. These work great for that use case. They are also good for drying the door jambs or interior cleaning. They are too small to use as a drying towel for the car but that's not the primary use case IMO for these size towels. Very soft and wipes away water and cleaning solution very well.

Very soft, plush, more professional in quality
I gotta say, these are pretty nice, pretty plush. I've bought some others off Amazon, that were extremely disappointing. So, I was hesitant to order these off Amazon, but I pulled the trigger on these. They were more expensive, but they are quite soft & plush.

Tags? Zero care instructions included
I ordered these for detailing my new car and, as always, read a lot of reviews here and on other microfiber detailing cloths. The reviews often mention washing instructions but these came without any type of “how to” material. No insert in the cellophane bag and nothing printed on the bag itself. I was also a bit surprised and annoyed that a sewn-in tag was on these as I’m now carefully cutting them off while trying not to leave a tag edge attached yet not cutting into the stitching that holds the polyester “silk” edge to the microfiber. As there are no care instructions at all, I went by people’s reviews (who apparently did get some kind of care instructions.) I used a liquid detergent and washed these on a gentle cycle in hot water then dried them on low heat. Yes, I found some instructions online from CB but so many contradictory directions that I fell back to using some form of common sense. These went into the washer without anything but the 12 yellow towels I received. I used a detergent meant only for dark clothes that’s milder than my Tide Pods and no dryer sheets. I have not used them on my car yet. I can’t evaluate these for their intended purpose as I’m removing tags instead of washing my 2 week old car. The reason I bought these instead of any others out there is due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews here and I’ve purchased a lot of Chemical Brothers products and have been completely satisfied. As for those comparing these to Kirkland Brand, there is no comparison at all. These are far more fluffy and plush on the fluffy side and the edges (except for the tag) are way nicer. As for paying an absurd amount for the washing solution to clean these, no. I’m just not willing to believe that whatever is in the CG detergent is superior to what I used today to wash them in. If the company wants to send a sample (haaaa-ha) I’ll compare my method and change this review. I will update the review after washing my car.

How to wash and maintain. Excellent product
These are even better than the thicker microfiber cloths for cars I got from Costco that came 36 to a pack. I ended up with two packs of those and they last me (someone who washes his car maybe 3 times a week) about 3 months after washing them after every use. I just 4 packs of these delivered to me yesterday and used them right out of the box without washing first and they were a dream, truly left no streaks like my Costco ones did, I didn’t have to go over the same spot twice, amazingly absorbent on the high pile side, and they trapped even more dirt and grime. Now i bought 48 of these, and ended up using about 25 for a COMPLETE detail of my 2020 chevy malibu. This was using them correctly, and swapping the towels out every time one got too dirty so as to not scratch the paint. A lot of people out there are being super conservative just using two and even just ONE of these towels to dry their whole car, good luck polishing out those swirls later on cheapscakes. Anywhos.... I’m going to tell you all the secret to washing these towels that I’m not seeing ANYONE leave a detailed enough review on how to properly wash and maintain these things. TO WASH: Always wash these by themselves, never with other fabrics or clothing items. People will say it’s ok to use laundry detergents to clean these, but in doing so you WILL decrease the efficiency of the absorbency of these cloths. ALWAYS ONLY use a DEDICATED microfiber wash for these. I use Chemical guys microfiber wash, the orange liquid. Drop about 6 capfuls in a medium load, and WASH THEM IN HOT WATER after using on your dirty, grimy, oily car. The hot water will release any entrapped dirt and grime that the microfiber lifts off of your car, cold water will not do this. And don’t worry. the hot water will not damage these, now the drier is another story. DO NOT USE HEAT TO DRY THESE. If you can use your AIR FLUFF with no heat feature on your drier, they will dry in less than 20 minutes on their own and upon taking out will quite literally feel as new as they did right out of the pack. If you don’t have an air fluff feature on your dryer, use the lowest setting of heat and let them go for about 15 minutes, they should dry before then. Don’t leave them in too long in a heated drier, even at a low setting, too much heat and over time they will become thinner, and wayyyy less absorbent, i learned this the hard way with my Costco Micros. Hope this helps the lot of you.

These are the best towels for washing cars
Washable and dries well. No smell. Gets the job done. Had several other brands that just didn’t do the job so I decided to give these a try and I love them. Soft and the size is good size for cleaning the car. I got the blue ones.
