The Best Brush(es) for long, thick, layered hair! 4+ years!
I’ve had my Olivia Garden Multi-brush (this size) for about 4 years now and I just ordered another this size, plus a smaller barrel.I bought the barrel one size up at the same time but don’t use that size as much. This pink barrel I use every other day.I LOVE it!I love how I can change the handle between the barrels I have for different lengths of my hair. Every once in a while the handle will slip out but gosh, over the course of 4+ years, using the brush every other day to dry my long, thick hair, I think I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth! Totally DurableI can’t wait to try the smaller barrel on my longer hair.I use this size for most of my head, but I think the smaller one will work well on the longer parts. The bigger barrel I use on the shorter length of hair to straighten it.As for Drying Time , this brush is great. I twist my hair in it and then take the blow dryer and put it up against the top of the barrel so the heat is drying my hair from the inside out. When using a regular round brush, the blow dryer is only heating the hair that’s on top that’s exposed to the heat.

Easy to use
My hair stylist uses these so I got a set. I really like them- super easy to remove/attach the handle and makes it quick and easy to set my hair as I dry it. I like the bigger sizes to get volume on my shorter hair.

Perfect solution
Love them so much easier than balancing 5 brushes on your hear

Better as a curler
I bought this brush for travel. Since the handle separates, I find it easier to pack. That’s actually the only reason I bought it since I love my regular round brush. The handle comes off easy by pressing the button. Then you can leave the round in your hair like a curler.Where it doesn’t work for me at all is during the blowout. It gets stuck in your hair easily and doesn’t pull through, smoothly. I haven’t gotten it so stuck that I can’t easily untangle it, but I find it best to roll, detach, and let set. I only use the one larger round as the other size is too small, so it takes a long time to dry.So it good for setting a single curl, but not good for blow drying.

Great Purchase
I love, love, love this brush set. First saw them at my hairdressers and knew I had to have them at home. I use them all the time now.

Not for thick or long hair.
This is easy to use, doesn’t feel sturdy and the handle doesn’t secure the brush well. I bought this because I’ve used Olivia garden brushes for so long, but this doesn’t feel anything like it. Great for fine to medium hair, nothing longer than 4” below the shoulder. Be careful the brush tends to fall off the handle pretty easily.

I need to buy a few more.
Love love love these brushes. Works very well. Easy to clean out hair. Holds up to heavy use. The detachable bit is awesome and so handy. Can be left in hair while youe hair sets.

Great Idea, Lousy Execution
Bought this brush handle - brush combo for travel. Am currently on my second 5-day travel trip using it. I deliberately waited to write the review until I’d had the chance to use the item.Sadly, this handle does not stay attached to the brush barrel, *even if I grip both the handle and the brush barrel separately while running it through my hair*.The speed with which this thing went from Meh to Total Garbage is shocking. If I could, I would give it 0 stars. The first time I used it to dry my hair, the handle came off several times. At that point, I thought perhaps I was inadvertently pressing on the handle release while holding the handle. So I tried to be very mindful of how I held it. Whereupon I realized, No, that’s not what was happening. I was not, in fact, pressing on the handle release without realizing it. The brush was simply coming off the handle base with the slightest amount of force because it’s a bad design. I have very fine hair. So we are not talking tons of force being put on this hairbrush handle. Worse still, the handle seems to get even more loose every time I use the brush-handle combo together.Currently, the handle is so loose that it pulls off almost immediately when I pull the brush through my dry hair; it pulls off at least half a dozen times while being used on wet hair for a blow out. And at least with dry hair, once the brush barrel pulls off, it tends to get stuck in my hair such that I have to detach and pull it out with my hands. What good is having an interchangeable handle and brush system if the handle comes off the second you pull the brush through your hair, regardless of which brush attachment you’re using?Fail…
