Can I be Amy?
As soon we step into the story, we find Amy at a museum function, enjoying what she does... Then we find out her life isn't even her own and Amy isn't even her name... She can barely remember what her life was like before she lived it on the run. She running from a past that has caused death of her love ones. She received a message from her handler, who keeps her safe. It's time for a new name and a new location as they might be able to find her since he was able to...Now she is Amy Bensen from New York. She is at the airport, trying to make her planned get away to Denver, and there is where she sees him: a hotter than sin man who has met her stare. She tries to ignore him, but she soon finds out that she has to sit next to him for the next four hours during the flight. Her body is telling her to run while she can, but she can't get away fast enough. And he won't let her, he instantly makes himself a part of her life, even if it's all lies.Liam Stone is an architect protégé, who is extrudes sex, power and wealth. She has no idea who he is and he makes sure she knows who he is by feeding her internet information of himself. She thinks that everything is will be okay and she thinks she has found comfort in a stranger, Liam. Enter her neighbor: Jacob Ryan, sexy bad boy who lives down the hall. Who makes her feel all sorts of weird things, like he is connect to her past... As soon as Liam finds out about Jacob, he goes all instant protector. At first I was like awe, but now I am really wondering if he is trying to keep her from him for more than "him wanting her".Amy soon realizes that Jacob might be linked to her. She is trying to get answers about her new "job" and her past. No one can know she is the daughter of an archaeologist who was murdered for what he knew. She is slowing piecing together that nothing is as it seems and thinking the only person she can trust is Liam. However, one overheard phone conversation changes it all. She realizes she is finally done running and is going back home...to Texas. This book literally left me speechless after reading. That last two pages left me screaming at my Kindle. Sorry Mr. C. for waking you, but that is the kind of book this is. My mind is completely blown and I'm was thinking what in the hell just happened?!?! I did not want it to end because I want to know what happens! There is this fabulous ride of sexual tension and relationship building. With added drama and twist and turns that you do not see coming... I totally did NOT see that ending coming!! I am ready for the second part...Infinite Possibilities...Escaping Reality is not comparable to anything I have read by Lisa Renee Jones. I felt hints of suspenseful and mysterious qualities mixed with raw sexual appeal from Ms. Jones unique writing style, and the product is a beautifully complex, smart and intriguing Amy...I received this book in exchange for an honest review. These are my thoughts and my words. They cannot be use without my permission!

Escaping Reality , A Review for the Blog Bodice Rippers, Femme Fatales and Fantasy
Lisa Renne Jones has done it again!! This woman has a way of telling a story that completely captivates an audience. She spins a story of intrigue and survival that most of us can only dream of.. and Escaping Reality is her latest piece of brilliance.Infinite possibilities....Infinite passion.....Infinite danger....His touch spirals through me, warm and sweet, wicked and hot. I shouldn't trust him. I shouldn't tell him my secrets. But how do I not when he is the reason I breathe? He is what I need. (swooning yet)Amy Bensen is a woman without a past.. Her family is gone, her life has been in the shadows and yet she has one man who has protected her, who has helped her start over and now is warning her she must run.. again! Since her family's sudden deaths in a fire Amy has been on the run trusting no one, not even her mysterious benefactor completely. Every time she tries for normalcy something goes wrong. But Amy is tired of being alone and when she meets a strong, compelling man on her flight to Denver something happens..and Amy's world has changed yet again.Liam Stone is mysterious, fascinating, intriguing, compelling, rich, brilliant and oh so dangerous and Amy has absolutely no idea how to handle him. She was told to trust no one. That once she got set up in her free apartment, money would be transferred to her new account, in her new name.. but things aren't happening the way they are supposed to and Amy has no idea who to trust.. She has this gorgeous man who is interested in her.. a perky new "friend" from the law offices that rent her building, a supposed job and a dashing neighbor.. Only trouble for Amy is the fact that no one seems to be who they say they are. Well except everyone could be.How would you deal with a life where you couldn't trust anyone? Where you aren't sure if anything is real and you really have only flashbacks of your former life? Amy knows she was saved by a mysterious stranger and yet I spent half the book wondering.. Was She? And Can she trust Liam? Or her new absentee boss? And really who ever trusts the perky chick?Lisa seriously kept me on the edge of my seat the ENTIRE book! I totally and completely fell in love! I read this in one long gulp forgetting even to exhale! Fabulous doesn't say nearly enough about it. I know there is more.. I know the story continues but I want it NOW.. I am thinking of writing letters, begging, pleading, demanding the next excerpt now!One of the things about this particular genre and yes I honestly feel it has it's own genre, or at least sub-genre, is that it is written in the first person and covers more than one book. Moning did it with her Fever Series, James did it with 50, Lisa is doing it with her Inside Out Trilogy and there are many more.. These men are the heroes that aren't. Welcome back to the age of the anti-hero! They are Dark, Dreamy and Dangerous and we are tumbling head over heels for them.Ladies, if you want to sizzle one minute and be in the torment of suspense the next this is the series for you!!ShauniThis review is based on the ARC of Escaping Reality provided by netgalley
