Impressive quality for the price, Great customer service
I've updated my review after the company contacted me to correct the order (I received the correct product this time). I've used both the Blue and the RGB LED strips from this company. Both are decently solid options, especially for the price. I've purchased a ton of LED strips from different companies, but I decided to try supernight out because they were the cheapest option. The quality of the RGB LEDs are near perfect, and honestly quite impressive for about $10. The solid Blue LED strip I received had a few soldered joints that lowered the quality, but is still a great deal for the price. Overall, these LEDs are a great option for the price and will get the job done. A lot of the negative reviews sound like they are reviewing a $100 product, which you need to remember is not the case with this. I am very pleased with the customer service, they contacted me to make sure I was satisfied and offered to replace my order for free. If you happen to receive the wrong shipment or a defected product, just send them an email. They are very responsive and fair. Some things to note: - These LEDs are water resistant, but they are certainly not water proof. - These do not come with any kind of power source, you need to provide a 12 V source with ample current limiting circuitry. - This is a $10 product, you get what you pay for

Update: consider placement on non conductive surface
Update: seller contacted me and offered free replacement which I obliged. Thank you so much guys, the lights really are fantastic and bright. Outstanding customer service, review reflects product and customer service. Color: 10 Brightness: 10 Adhesive: placement could be better-recommend not placing it on conductive surfaces As the title says: do not stick them to metal. The adhesive strip was not centered perfectly and the copper contacts that you cut across to shorten or lengthen the strips will definitely touch the metal. Not on the ends, right in the middle of the strip. Aside from that, the lights work fantastic and are super bright. I will definitely buy again but i will never put them on a conductive surface again. Attached is a picture of them glowing at night compared to my LED headlights. They're definitely bright!

Good LED strips for the price, has some long-term durability issues
These LEDs are on par with all other IP67 SMD 5050 60 LEDs per meter strips that I've used. They work well, but the epoxy (or whatever it is) protecting the surface will sometimes crack after a year or so. The price is pretty good considering the quick shipping, but these can be had for around $12 direct from china. I used about 400m of similar strip on a large lighting project and found it to work well, with the main failure points being the connectors (which I replaced with waterproof versions) and damage to individual groups of three LEDs. The strip is wired such that if an LED or wire is damaged, it will generally only affect that channel (red green or blue) for a single set of three LEDs. This can cause the strips to look strange if several groups have a single failed channel. Overall, these are good lights if you don't need individually addressable LEDs (like WS2812s) and the convenience of running them at 12v is significant.

No surprises, consistent colors throughout reel
TLDR; Works perfectly. Unroll before use/testing, else they can overheat. The reel came with a male four-wire plug on one end, and a female four-wire plug at the far end. I tested using a bench power supply, which also showed full-on white drawing just under 3A. Single-colors were consistent throughout the strip. When I first opened it, the strip had a slight smell, similar to new foam mattress, which I expect dissipates after a few days. As expected, the strip can be cut at every third light (I'll call this one "unit" == 3 LEDs). For reviewers who think this is "soldered together" scraps.... It's more likely that these are manufactured with ten units (30 LEDs, nine internal cut points) per sub-strip. Each reel is then made up of sub-strips that are soldered together. (so, 10x sub-strips, each with 30 LEDs, for this reel). That makes nine locations with pre-soldered joints in the reel. The same is true for the RGB version I bought from SUPERNIGHT. VERY PLEASED.

They function as intended with the correct power supply
These work well for the price. However you do need some items in order for it to work. Dummy me thought I could just plug these into the 12v RGB connector on my PC motherboard and have them work as an RGB strip with Aura Sync. My plan was to do that and then have them wrap around the back of my desk for accent lighting controlled by my PC RGB programs. Not possible. THESE DON'T WORK THAT WAY! You need a 24V power source and an IR Remote system. As long as you buy those too, these will work great. Really bright with lots of colors. I repeat... you need a 24v power source! Not 12v! Some power sources on here are sold as working for led strips at 12v but not this strip! This strip needs 24v! These will not be good for outdoor use or sticking under your ricer car for underglow. The stickiness is really good and if you cut them in the correct spot and but the necessary connectors, you can get a lot of use out of them as this is a really long spool of lights.

Dodgy quality control
Decent LEDs, with a fairly bright output, but not really any different from any of the other SMD5050 strips out there... ...EXCEPT when it comes to quality control. These have a glued back, with paper tape to cover the glue until you are ready to use them. Mine had endured some kind of manufacturing issue which meant that the glue was globby and not flat, and the paper was rumpled and twisted which made it difficult to get the strip to sit flat before I was ready to glue it in place. I had to manually cut the globs out of the glue layer which cost me a bunch of extra time and was REALLY annoying. I would recommend going with another product with better quality control - I have used LEDENET's strips, amplifiers and controllers and have yet to have a problem with any of them.

glue was terrible. need to add decent mounting clips

This is only a strip. Not usable by itself.
