Don't listen to comments about it only being 2 speeds or Crying about short wires
With my 1800w 48v motor, speedometer showed the following speeds for each: 1 - 20mph, 2 - 25mph, 3 - 29.5mph, so it's definitely 3 speeds. My controller wire connections are blue, black, yellow and connect to red, green, black respectively on the switch. Would have been nice to know which wire went its respective number on the switch. And boohoo, I had to run a wire extension... pretty normal with electrical components. They don't know how long you need and can't send with 100ft of wire for everyone. Jeez...

No instructions how to wire into the harness for a 1800 watt beer cruising cooler

Caused serious damage
The switch failed. It shorted internally from 1st terminal to 3rd terminal. This damaged my motor controller. I no longer have speed control provided by this connector.

Works as advertised
This 3 speed switch works perfectly for the mod I did on a Razer MX650. The only knock against it I have is that the wires are pretty short.

Works good. Needed to reconfigure the wires and two and three are still reversed but works good.

It's cheap and it works, but it's not a 3 speed switch, but actually a 2 speed switch because it has 3 wires instead of 4. Switch 1 and 3 is on, and 2 is off. The green wire is 1, black wire is your positive power wire (switch 2), red wire is 3.
