INCREDIBLE PILLOW, AND EVEN MORE INCREDIBLE COMPANY
You never know what you're going to get when buying something like this online, but I trusted other reviewer's great comments and ordered it. I must say that the pillow is wonderful. The outer cover is really soft, and the claim of comfort that comes from "memory foam" pillows is completely true. I would highly recommend this pillow for anyone needing a quality pillow to relieve neck strain. It comes with two straps that can be "locked" into place so the pillow is always at the right position for the user. This is a unique feature, and very clever. Additionally, the pillow comes with a carrying case into which you squeeze the pillow, creating a small item for carrying in a briefcase, or purse, or anyplace that space is of a premium. The outer cover of the pillow is also removable for washing, which is a GREAT feature. Other pillows I've had of this kind have to be dry cleaned. But, the MOST IMPORTANT feature of this pillow is the customer service and the company that makes it. If you look up "companies that stand behind their products" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of the Aeris company :). Kidding, but you know what I mean. Besides email from them wanting to make sure that I had received the pillow in a timely manner, and was happy with my purchase, I communicated with them that I had purchased the pillow for my mother who had recently suffered a stroke. I received a personal email wishing my mother a speedy recovery, as well as a generous offer of additional assistance. When was the last time YOU experienced that level of service from a company? So, all that said, the pillow is incredible and is only outmatched by the company that makes it. Five stars to Aeris as well. I'm NOT an employee of Aeris, and have NO financial stake or any other reason to write a great review other than the product and the company deserve it. I wish I could give more than five stars. I will be buying from Aeris in the future.

Comfortable & convenient
I purchased this neck pillow and the Cabeau neck pillow for a trip a year ago. I bought both(see my other review)because I am pretty picky when it comes to these types of pillows. A good neck pillow is important to me because I never get the window seat since my little one claims it for herself. So, being in the middle seat....there is nothing to rest my head on during flights & doing the head bob ever few seconds is both annoying & painful. Anyhow I tried this one on the first trip (2 part flights to NY) & it worked very well. I was a bit skeptical when this oillow arrived. Right out of the box, the pillow seemed a bit too firm to me for memory foam. I got the purple one & the color is quite lovely. This pillow comes in a variety of bright colors. I really like the convenience of the storage bag & ear plugs. It came with an eye mask, but I nevee use eye masks because I don't need it to nap. It's hard when your trying to flub your way through security or dash to a connecting flight with a bulky u-shaped neck pillow in your hand or try to wedge part of it into your bag...only to drop it on the dirty floor. With the storage bag....you can velcro the bag to your backpack, suitcase or carry-on. The clips at the ends of pillow nicely keep the pillow from spreading apart & letting your head flop to one side. The clips fit together well & came apart easy enough when I was done with the pillow but not so easily that they come apart when I am trying to use it. It was firm enough to provide the support I needed to nap comfortably (if that's even possible on a plane). I woke up without any discomfort in my neck & I was able to quickly squish it down to fit back in the storage bag for our trek to the connecting flight. This is definitely one of my favorite neck pillows I have tried over the years!

Noticed some updates on new version...
I originally purchased one of these back in 2016. It held up pretty well over the years, granted I didn't use it often. Eventually, I lost it in the airport and had to re-purchase one this year for an upcoming trip. Thought I'd leave a review comparing the differences. Here's some things I noticed: - The memory foam felt slightly better on the older pillow. It had the perfect balance between firmness and softness. The foam also felt slightly more maliable. That's not to say the newer version is bad, it's still quite comforabtle, but I do miss the feel of the pervious version. All that said, the older pillow had a slightly denser/heavier foam. So the advantage of the new version would be that it's lighter to carry! - The neck support on the newer version is slightly different, in a good way! The foam on the back of the neck is more padded than on the previous version. Not sure if this is due to the type of foam that's being used now but, it has much better support for my neck this time around. - The accessories that it came with are also much better quality. The carry bag has a better material and design. Due to it's smaller size, this makes taking it on the go a much better experience than on the older version. They also included several sized ear plugs, along with a well padded eye mask that made for better comfort. These extras aren't necessary for me, but it's a nice plus! Overall, it's comforable, has good support and it's more than good enough for your average travel needs! My only nitpick/reason for giving this 4/5 stars is because I prefer the feel of the foam on the older version.

Aeris Travel Pillow - Buy it!!!
What a great product I'm so happy I have finally found something that works!! In the course of my job I do a lot of travel within the US but also a significant amount of International travel and as most people know waking up after an 8 hour or longer night flight business meetings on the first day can be almost impossible. I just purchased your Aeris travel pillow & during my recent 8 hour Transatlantic flight I ended up sleeping for the majority of it; I woke up at the other end without a headache or stiff neck, something which is extremely rare during these flights. I have tried a number of travel pillows in the past but compared to the Aeris the others are either way too expensive, do not offer the same comfort as yours or plainly did not allow me to relax sufficiently enough to be able to get any restful sleep. The ease of use, comfort & value for money is excellent. The small design details are also nice touches which are well thought through; from the travel pouch to the clasps to the washable cover, all items which on their own are relatively insignificant but when combined make for a pillow that provides the maximum amount of comfort & ease of use for a relaxing travel experience. I am already planning on buying additional pillows for the rest of my family for our next fight, I would highly recommend this pillow to anyone who travels frequently whether it be in their own vehicles or via any type of public transport. The Aeris pillow should be a necessity for any traveller, I for one definitely won't be leaving home without it ever again!! Great job Aeris & thank you for making sleepless flights a thing of the past. What is the next new travel product you are working on & when will it be available?????

Comfortable, quality is a little dubious
After my last long flight that resulted in a lot of neck pain I decided I needed to invest in a travel pillow and based on some research I picked this one because I read that it wasn't super hard and I thought that would be most comfortable. The good: -True to what I read this is a nice soft memory foam that gives and cushions your head without it forcing you into one position. -It does compress quite a bit so you can stuff it in the sack provided and it takes up less space. -The cover is soft and it's removable so you can wash it (a must after long flights in germ filled airplanes) -The strings with the toggles that snap together is nice. The shape wasn't a perfect fit for me and this helped keep it in a good place. The not as good: -The zipper on the cover is pretty weak. I'll be very careful with it because I wouldn't be shocked if it got stuck/ripped after a few uses. -It's a weak spot where the strings are connected. Pulling on them too hard will surely rip them off. -After one flight the plastic piece at the end of one of the strings that keeps the toggle from sliding all the way off broke off. -It might just be too soft. I have a smaller neck and this didn't quite give the amount of support I would have liked. But it was comfortable and kept my head from bobbing around so it accomplished the majority of it's job. -I don't really understand the stuff sack. I think it needs to be smaller. After rolling up the pillow into a nice little ball over half the amount of the space in the sack was unfilled and the velcro strap is in a weird place that I couldn't figure out how it would be useful to keeping it compressed. But it's functional to a certain extent. Overall I think that this might not be a great fit for people with smaller heads/necks, but it is very comfortable. The quality of the memory foam and cover I don't doubt, but the zipper/adjustable strings I don't expect to last very long.

a great product!
Hi Matt, I received the pillow in time for my departure, so thank you for the fast shipping! I must say I really liked the pillow during my 9-hour flight; it was not only very comfortable but easy to use. On the ground, I also used it on a long car ride which again saved my neck from fatigue and pain. You had warned me about a possible "smell," but I noticed no smell at all! The folding and storing in the velcro bag was a bit challenging at first, but I think I got the hang of it, after realizing that I can be aggressive in rolling the pillow tightly and still have it unfold to its original size later. In fact, a tight roll made the pillow small enough to fit into my hand luggage easily - and you know luggage capacity is critical on a plane these days. I also like the interlocking front closure! It keeps the sleeping head from bobbing through the "opening" in front, and thus prevents neck strain and (important to us Ladies!) wrinkles on our necks! The velcro on the bag is a bit confusing, however, and I don't think I closed the bag correctly; perhaps a photo of how it's supposed to wrap and close would be helpful. I would also suggest including your nice instructions right in the bag, so users have it handy immediately and again for later trips. I also like the bright blue color I ordered which helped me to locate the pillow anywhere. I think a neutral color gets "lost" more easily while packing and organizing, whereas the bright color allowed me to easily spot my pillow and NOT accidentally leave it behind on the plane.... anyway, that's just my personal opinion. All in all, a really good product! thank you again!

"Works great! Much more support that the little Styrofoam ball filled ones. "
I am a chronically ill person and need to sleep in a recliner. Unfortunately I would wake up many times with my neck hurting from my head being at awkward angles after moving in my sleep. We had an old Styrofoam ball filled travel pillow laying around, so I started with it. While it helped, it was still lacking support and my wife frequently had to sow up tiny holes that leaked styrofoam...some from wear, some from my lovingly playful cats. Enter the quest for a memory foam travel pillow. I read numerous articles and Amazon reviews and ordered one from another company with high marks. I received it and it looked and felt great. I used it for a few nights, my teenage soon "borrowed" it one day, and that night the memory foam had broken in the middle. I was disappointed in how easily it had failed, but wasn't comfortable filing a claim because I know my son may have been a bit rough.n Hence the search began for a more durable memory foam travel pillow. That search led me to Aeris. I am very happy to write this review for them because their product has performed wonderfully. I use it in a regular chair and my recliner. It's comfortable yet supportive. I am a happy customer. Well done Aeris.
