Chair Exceeded my Expectation's Right Out Of The Box!!
As soon as i opened the box i was amazed! I had just finished putting together another office chair (from a different manufacturer). The difference between the two was quite obvious immediately. This one was heavy duty and higher in quality. It reminded me of the kind of computer chairs we use to use when i was a RN at our computer desk in the Operating Room. It was so easy to put together and i was able to use it right away at my desk to work on my art journal. It’s very comfortable and has good support for my back. It was reasonably priced, I highly recommend this product.

Most comfortable
This is the best chair ever! So nicely made and very comfortable. It was so easy to build myself.

It is what it says it is...
I bought this because I have a desk unit in my kitchen next to the kitchen island/bar, and I thought the range of height adjustment would be ideal - simply pull over the desk chair and raise it up for additional seating at the bar. I does in fact accomplish this purpose rather well. Be aware that the rolling base takes up a bit more room than bar stools/chairs with legs. Pros: build quality is not super polished but structurally very solid. Arms of the base pedestal are cast as one piece and the gas cylinder slides into it precisely. The gas cylinder is hefty - no flimsiness in the structure. Foot ring is a bit lighter construction but seems solid enough - we'll see. The weld joint in the ring is a bit rough. (Instructions for foot ring appear to be wrong. There is a plastic bushing that they show being placed on the cylinder with the flange at the top before the foot ring is installed. But the foot ring won't go over the flange. Put the plastic bushing on with the flange at the bottom, then the foot ring slides right on to it and fits snugly on the gas cylinder. Slide it up or down as desired and tighten the hand screw against the plastic bushing to hold it in place.) Cushion is substantial, at least as of first use. I've seen complaints that the side supports of the cushion are a bit tight. I'm 5'10" 190 lbs and to me it feels supportive without being tight. Cons: does not go down quite as far as a standard office chair; my thighs hit the desk drawer if I slide in too far. However, I find the height to be good for typing on a 30" desk height. Neutral: It's a drafting stool, not a chair, so thigh support is a bit short and the back rest is fairly low. They say the back is adjustable but the bar at the base of the back rest is too short to allow any significant movement up or down. Back angle is adjustable but locks in place and does not allow any reclining once locked, unless you readjust the position. Overall a solidly built and comfortable drafting stool for the money, with versatility to be used as an office chair, sort of. Probably would not be a good for an all day office chair, particularly for taller individuals.

Excellent Chair For Dealing Poker
Awesome chair. Sturdy and fully adjustable. I bought this for a poker room I deal in. Works great and all the other dealers love it to. It goes ashigh and or aslow as needed to get perfect position at the poker table. I will be buying 3 more for the rest of our tables.

Very comfy for long stretches
I really love this drafting stool! It’s super comfy, supportive cushioning, and I love that there are no arms and a supportive back. I agree with others that the foot ring does not stay up. If you don’t use it then it will stay up, but as soon as you start to rest your feet on it, it starts to sink down gradually. I didn’t want to give up on it because I liked the top part so much, so I finagled something with duct tape along the pole to stop the ring from sinking. The downside is that I can’t adjust it at all, but it’s still better than it being unusable.

Breaks really quickly under normal use
I have now ordered two of these for use at the register at my store. It's comfortable and has the features we want (footrest, adjustable height) and it's super cheap, but there's a reason for that. The first one only lasted a year before a critical weld broke so the seat was no longer attached to the base, and the second one only lasted a MONTH before the actual metal holding the seat back tore -- yes, tore. We ordered the second one knowing we weren't likely to get a year out of it only because we were in the middle of the holiday shopping season, and this one would ship quickly. It's difficult to find chairs that will fit plus-sized employees, and the price was low enough to tolerate spending it again and using the 6-12 months before it broke to research a better solution. It spectacularly failed to meet even that very low expectation. Please note that while we were specifically shopping for a "big and tall" chair, we chose this one because none of my staff are close to the weight limit that this chair advertises it's rated for.

Wide seat, reclining back
Fantastic chair for me! Perfect height and can lean back very far and feels very stable and comfortable with the thickness. Love it. Worth the money spent! Also very easy to put together!! Love that the most

Overall satisfactory purchase.
Use the footrest only to place your feet on while working. If you put your weight on it, it will break. If you keep that in mind, it's a very good chair. Occasionally, there are defective products with weak welding joints. This chair is a functional chair. You can adjust the height and tilt of the backrest and the height of the seat. I purchase and use a shorter $15 cylinder separately for this chair. I also purchase and use additional wheels for $16 from Amazon. Doing so will cost an additional $30 or so and makes for a pretty decent tattoo chair. Considering that a typical useful tattoo chair costs over $400, it is economical as it provides similar efficiency at half the price. I purchased 8 of these chairs for my studio. A foot rest is only for supporting your feet. If you try to climb up there by putting your weight on it, it is natural that it will break. Although it is sturdier than the foot rests on other ergonomic chairs, keep in mind that you still cannot stand on it.
