Heatshield Products 322050 Black 2" Wide x 50' Exhaust Wrap Roll

This works and looks great! I needed just over 100' for my 4-1 CB650 exhaust setup. Roughly 110' to wrap the entire thing. I'm waiting for all of the fumes to burn off so I can seal it with silicone. The color fades to gray pretty quickly, but I'm told that black color can be restored by using silicone spray. Things I highly recommend: read up on exactly how to wrap your exhaust, there is one particular way that is correct. Be sure you are covered head to toe with clothing so as to not get covered in fiberglass. It took a day or two for it to finally get off of me after working with it. Make sure the entire wrap is soaked. It makes it easier to work with, less fiber glass dust and it allows you to wrap it tighter so that you can conserve length and have a tighter, more efficient wrap.

Insulates well, but frays a lot, lots of fiberglass splinters in my arm despite gloves and working with it wetted with water, does not gold form unless melted, and once heated, is immediately brittle, even at 3 days old. My wrap fell apart after only 4 days, despite a tight wrap and metal hose clamps to hold fast.

The black quickly turned gray and then silver in one ridding season. Still looks great as long as you don't mind the color change.

Worked as advertised, came in a neat tidy roll easy to use and looked sharp. We used this in an industrial application on a rock crusher that had been experiencing issues with the temperature of the exhaust dropping too low before the SCR catalyst and this was able to alleviate the problem by holding more heat in the exhaust stream for proper emissions control. Shopping around, this was by far the best value. Will definitely buy this from the same seller again.

I used this on my exhaust header pipes on my H3 to hopefully protect my wiring and under hood plastic in the exhaust area. Seems to be working ok so far but summer in Phoenix will be the real test. The material is a little thick so I couldn't wrap between pipes that were close to each other (had to wrap around multiple pipes). The material does smoke quite a bit after first installation but it's temporary. Definitely need to wear gloves when handling because fiberglass will irritate your skin. Good product for its intended purpose.

Would have given it a 4 star but they sent a sticker and a sticker on the garage fridge is worth 1 star. Its not as heavy and thick as the pricer wraps i have bought but my purpose this time was more for a looks thing on a project. Wraped well. Didnt fray all over like the really cheap ones. Would recomend fornmotorxyxle applications.

Easy to apply, and looks great on my bike. I did purchase black metal ties, instead of using the steel ones that come with this. I have very little chrome on my bike, and didnt want the ties to stand out from the black. I have straight drag pipes and one roll would not have covered both, so glad I got two rolls to begin with
