Biotene Gentle Mint Moisturizing Mouth Spray, Sugar-Free, for Dry Mouth and Fresh Breath, 1.5 ounce

I have severe dry mouth problems due to medications, and this spray provides immediate relief and lasts longer than anything else I've tried. It has a very mild mint taste (I like that! Nothing overpowering.) I carry it every where is go, it's compact enough to fit in a little pocket in my smallest purses, is easy to use discreetly b/c it's so quick (just 1-2 sprays will do) and provides a normal moist environment in your mouth. All of the Biotene products are great.

I have to use the Biotene spray because I take a lot of medications that cause dry mouth. I began having dental implant work done last year and my dentist insisted that I use Biotene to help keep my mouth moistened so that it would help prevent implant failure. No one wants to spend that kind of money on dental work and then take a chance on it not working due to dry mouth, so this has been money well spent, in my opinion, and it also helps with yuck mouth that comes along dry mouth. I also use the Biotene mouthwash and like that as well.

I get very dry mouth especially at night. I tend to sleep with my mouth open and try as I might I cannot stop that. I always keep Water by my bedside so when I wake up and feel like a desert have invaded my mouth I take a drink of water and then three or four sprays of Biotene. I don't know why I do the water first but since starting with Biotene it leaves my mouth feeling fresh and I'm able to go back to sleep immediately. It has a nice minty flavor and is considerably better than using just water alone. I don't use it during the day time because I don't have the problem. Give it a try I think you'll like it

I have dry mouth for a reason that the dentist cannot identify and it comes and goes. I need a product to moisten my mouth and this works well as a temporary solution. I do not use this for regular use as it is expensive and there is not a lot in a bottle. It is handy to have in the car or on the nightstand to relieve dry mouth until I can use the gel or the mouthwash. It works well for about 30 minutes. It takes about three sprays and then it needs to be swished around in the mouth as much as possible. It has a nice minty flavor to it, and the consistency is not bad at all. Not good for the long haul, but great for short periods. I should note that it is sweetened with xylol which does not promote tooth decay, but which is a sugar form a diabetic standpoint.

I’ve tried a few other dry mouth sprays in the past and they haven’t tasted this good. Not only that, but the borderline gel consistency I think makes it last longer for sure. 10/10

It takes getting use to but it beats having a very dry throat. I wish Biotene made a small purse travel size because I'd buy lots more! It's when your out or on the go that air conditioning, dry offices, and even running the heater in your car dries out your throat, nasal passages, and eyes but we are un-aware of this phenomena except our eyes may water or itch, or we develop a cold or runny nose but all from dryness. Biotene works for at least a couple of hours but a small portable spray bottle would be awesome.

I was using Xylimelt tablets for nighttime dry mouth but decided they might be contributing to my frequent mouth irritations so started using the Biotene spray. It helps moisturize my mouth and the pleasant taste probably helps freshen my breath, and I have hardly had any mouth irritation since using it.
