Tuscanini Italian Tomato Sauce, Premium Italian Passata, 17.6oz (3 Pack) Resealable, Product of Italy

First time trying "Passata", and now I am kicking myself. For the ignorant like me, Passata is comprised solely of fresh tomatoes and salt, and it is uncooked (which I did not know). Perfectly smooth. It is thicker than tomato juice but thinner and more liquid than tomato paste. The salt is at the perfect level. Wonderful product

Thick and not very salty or herby. I use it to make Bloody Marys.

Convenient and competitively priced. Only used it thus far for tomato based sauces , Tuscan Bean soup and Italian meatball recipe (instead of tomato paste). The container is sturdy and leak proof. The sauce is a bit acidic and needs to be tempered with add ins, but a good base.
