Been using these for craft projects
I've been needing a straight ruler for craft projects for a while. I've been using cardboard boxes and other things to keep my lines straight when drawing lines were cutting. I got tired of messing up. So I finally bought these and I'm very happy with them. They are strong and durable and the large one is the one I've been using the most. It's nice to have the smaller ones in case I need them but the large one is perfect.

Width of the two larger rulers is larger than expected
Very sturdy--one end has zero margin--perfect for measuring kumihimo braids! The 6" ruler can be used to measure kumihimo braids still on the large-hole kumihimo disk--it is 11/16" wide. :-) But the 12" is 1" wide---tight fit. The 16" is 1 1/8" wide--too large to use with the braid still on the disk. There is a hole in the end of the ruler to use in hanging the rulers. Good value for three rulers.

I use them for baking purposes
I actually bought these for baking purposes. To get straight edges and make sure things were equally sized, ie shortbread. They’re good quality, I can easily wash them, and would definitely recommend.

Just what I wanted
I didn't noticed that this was a set of 3 sizes. So I was suprised (don't shop/order while 3/4 asleep) They are a nice weight and yes, the edges are a little bit sharp. Not a lot and I dont draw the edges across my skin. I don't need any backing on these for my application, thus these are great! I've already found uses for the 2 smaller ones and the 16 inch is perfect for my use! If you need rulers that are stong, flexible, with no backing, these are for you! And the scales are on both sides and start at zero! No extra material to adjust for.!
