Safety glasses with magnification.
Im old and my reading sight is not the best. I reload my own ammo and need to be exact in measurements plus the fact these are safety glasses in case something goes wrong my eyes are protected.

Way better than bifocal safety glasses
I've gotten to the point where I need 1.0 diopter glasses. I can still (mostly) read without them, but text is a bit blurry and I miss a lot of detail. I especially notice it in the shop when dealing with small assemblies, circuit boards, stuff like that. I have reading glasses but I usually don't want to keep swapping between them and safety glasses, and I'm a real stickler for eye safety.I've bought bifocal safety glasses and they should be the best of both worlds, but for me they don't work. The bifocal lens is very small and always puts the area of magnification in an inconvenient spot. They're OK for reading but for anything like actual work, I don't like them.I bought a pair of these a while back and now use them exclusively in my garage. They allow me to resolve detail and read print without having to switch to reading glasses or deal with bifocals. Because they're only a 1.0 diopter, they don't mess with my distance vision very much so I can wear them for prolonged periods.I just bought a second pair for work so I can finally ditch the bifocal safety glasses I use there as well. For some reason, safety glasses with 1.0 diopter have been difficult to find lately, and the price for these went way up. Two years ago I paid less than $10. This time I paid $26. Now, a couple of days after ordering, the price is back down to $12. I'll get a couple of years of use from these so it's not a bad deal but now I know that I should track the price on them before buying. Keep this in mind before buying. If I had waited a week, I would've paid half price.

Would like 5 stars if they would sell replacement temple arms
I have been buying these for several years...different diopters depending on activity. They may be long lasting if you can keep from breaking the temple pieces (I cannot). I just ordered a competitors to see if theirs hold-up better. Please sell replacement temple arms.

Hands Down a Great Solution for Shooters with Aging Eyes!
I had searched everywhere for a pair of FULL lens magnification safety glasses to use for shooting; but all I could seem to find was the bifocal type - until these turned up in my search. I wear multifocal contacts which are fine for general purposes; but vision will not be perfect and crystal clear at every distance (near, mid-range and far) with those alone - it's the nature of the beast. No one ever said dealing with aging eyes is fun! And trying to wear bifocal glasses for shooting is, for me at least, a nightmare. It just does not work! What I needed was just enough magnification (in addition to my multifocal contacts) to bring the front sight of my gun into clear focus without blurring the target too much. Enter the +1.0 FULL LENS reading glasses type magnification. Unfortunately they were impossible to find - until these. There are many safety glasses out there with bifocal options, but as far as I know these are the only ones made like readers with full magnifying lenses. If you shoot and are having the same type of issue, I highly recommend these. Do some experimenting with reading glasses first to determine what strength you need. And FYI, you'll probably want to go slightly lower in strength. I sometimes read small print with +1.25 readers in addition to my contacts; but the +1.0 works better for the "arms' length" distance to the front sight of my handgun. I first tried the +1.5 (they apparently don't make these in +1.25) but those blurred the target too much so I went down to the +1.0 and they were perfect! What a difference it has made! I only wish these glasses came in different colored lenses for shooting in different lighting conditions, but at this price point I'm just happy to be able to see! Other reviewers say the arms on these glasses break easily; so I try to be conscious of that when using them and I'm ordering a couple of extra pairs to keep on hand for that eventuality.
