Helps the discomfort but you need the hemorrhoidal suppositories too if you have burning and itching.

I've used it many times in the past and find it soothing.

It's basically like putting on Vicks Vapor rub but Vicks is stronger.Pain -For minor pain - it works well and you get a cooling sensation.For moderate to severe - you can still feel the pain so but like 10% less. So get a prescription and/or take stool softeners.This will NOT stop your condition from worsening... It will only help with the sensation of pain and discomfort.I used this, a prescription, and stool softener. It worked pretty well.Fun fact: I found out that it was my protein shakes causing the problem, not carbs. I also needed to take in about an additional 15 oz of water. I've been off the shakes for almost 2 months, I'm good now.

Works just like the other name brands. This one is a cream not ointment
