This is a very good semi perm direct dye for the price! It actually worked on my very stubborn greys and this color dark brown is a cool tone no brassy undertone and its very pigmented! Beware though ware gloves, use vaseline, and clean up any splaters right away.

I have Sisterlocks and I needed something to cover up the white hair that I get every two weeks. I am allergic to PPD so I can't use regular dyes. It is very tricky to use because it can stay on your scalp and your ears. I found out the best way to use it is to get in the shower, wash your hair, put the dye on it. Get back in the shower, wash yourself and then rinse the dye off. It takes on my hair and I have a lot of white hair on my head. This way it also doesn't stain your scalp as much. It doesn't need to stay on your head very long. So I wash my hair get out of the shower put the dye on in the mirror, so I can see what I'm doing, get back in the shower wash myself and the last thing I do is rinse the dye out of my hair and it takes. Doesn't even take that long. No 20 to 25 minutes for me and then having your head and every place else stained because it stains my skin. It seems that when you get out of the shower and have your hair wet without towel drying it, for me it seems to take much faster and stay in your hair just as long. Sometimes I just wash my head, put it on in the shower, making sure.That is how I use Kiss Express now. I discovered this by noticing it takes minutes for it to stain my skin, so I decided to give my roots touch up and it worked.

Okay listen. I'm not a hair color expert or even a snob about anything related. I'm just a mature chicken over here with a few gray feathers. 😉 The color definitely came out amazing. What I can't quite decide on is the thickness of this hair color liquid itself... I can only describe it as, pen ink. It was so, thick and goopy. I dunno'. I purchased this in a pinch and would m a y b e do it again. Maybe. The brand all around is great but honestly, I've purchased another brand very similar to this dark brown chocolate-y color in my local drugstore and it's application is just as simple as permanent boxed color. I don't NOT recommend this. Please try it if the application method is something you're okay with because the color really is super pretty.

This stuff really work for thickening your hair. I tried it for the first time and was really impressed. Please use gloves because this product stains badly. Would purchase again.

For a semi permanent dye this stuff really sticks to skin and not so much hair. That’s food dye compared to this dye after scrubbing my body after a shower. Took three more after it and I was still left with splotches all over my face, body, and neck. The ends of my hair never changed color, even after triple applying to them, and I now look so much worse than before. I regret ever using this product and will warn anyone in the future. There products comparible in price that do so much better
