I was hesitant about going with this tire and uncommon size but it's what is recommended for our Type II VW Transporter and I'm glad we did. They look great. Don't do the mount balance through here, it's far too much money. Pep boys directly is 1/4 of the price of doing it straight through this site for some reason. I had all 4 tires installed and balanced, old tires recycled and new valve stems installed for about $100 at Les Schwab which was closer to me than Pep Boys was. Any local tire place can do this, just call in advance and get an "out the door" price for mount/balance/valve stems and recycle fees before you go, so you aren't dinged with add on costs when you show up.

I needed a good quality all season tire to but on my 1990 Toyota Warrior motorhome and these were great! I changed out all tires (including the spare). I drove my motorhome from Alaska to Arizona and these tires worked perfectly.

Had these shipped directly to the garage where my Toyota RV spent the winter, since their supplier didn’t have them. Worked perfectly. And I felt very secure driving her home in April through rain, sleet and snow.

These are the truck tires specified by VW and others for older vehicles.As truck tires, they have extra plies for strength. These aid in handling having stiff sidewalls, and are critical to allow for the gross vehicle weight rating.As truck tires, they won't get the tread life of softer passenger tires. That said, I've been running a set for 40,000 miles on an 82 Vanagon Westfalia camper. They still have 5k wear left.Traction is fine on roads and surfaces where 2WD is appropriate. I haven't had them on snow or ice. Noise is minimal.I'll be buying another set.

I got these for my 1967 VW Bus. I found this tire on a VW website and thought I would check amazon. I get these for way less than what the website had. So far they seem to be a good tire.

These are very hard to find elsewhere. They've been doing a fine job. PO had regular automotive tires on the RV, but these stopped most of the rolling sensation.

Recommended to purchase new tires every 6-8 years due to deterioration of rubber. Purchased new tires for vehicle and 1 tire was 2.5 yeas old. Inconvenient, waste of time.

I'm putting these on my VW bus and these are the correct weight capacity for our buses and not the p-metrics most tire shops would slap on. Be safer on the road with these tires!
