Libertyware Stainless Steel Malt Milkshake Ice Cream Mixer Mixing Cup, 30 oz.

I make a protein smoothie/shake daily for breakfast, and the container included with the immersion blender used is just too small. That container is also plastic, which may shed micro- particles into the shake when the blender is in there mixing stuff up (speculation on my part, but not impossible). In any case this steel one eliminates that possible risk, and also reminds me of the "malts" we used to get at the local shop during the 50s and 60s (yeah I'm old). There are two marks on the interior/exterior indicating I believe 8 and 16 ounces. I find that helpful since I normally use around 12 ounces of soy milk in the shake, and can estimate that amount decently from those indentations. No sign of wear or rust or anything after 4 months of daily use, so conclude that the quality is probably pretty good Overall quite happy with the purchase.

great for immersion blender. easy to clean. dropped all the time. one of those great, sturdy things i bought years ago and has been perfect the entire time for me. along with my big stainless steel bowls, this was a perfect add on for my immersion blender. a must get for anyone with an immersion blender. great for making a protein shake in or mayo. i have another wider/little bit bigger one i also use, but i love this due to the taller/thinner sides.

I bought this cup as an add on item to a hand-held mixer/chopper blender. It's decent cup. I'm not sure if it's stainless steel through and through but it does get the job done. A couple things I like about it is I can wet it a little bit and I've put it in the freezer before making adult cocktails it's large enough to make two mudslides. It's also great for making frappes or fruit smoothies. I use it with my handheld blender so I cannot comment on how it works with a true large blender. I can say it works well with the gadget I have. The reason I gave it four stars opposed to five is my handheld blender came with a stainless steel cup, it is smaller but looks better made. That being said the other one was a lot more Expensive, I would recommend this cup I've had it for over a month now and I've used it a lot I do not see any rust spots on mine. I do hand wash it a lot because of its height it doesn't fit in the top row of my dishwasher. When I have room I do wash it in the dishwasher on the bottom rack. It's been washed on high heat with sani rinse cycle and I have not seen any rust spots or had any issues. Is good product looks nice, but not the right size for my hamilton beach drink mixer, hard to find, and expensive than the hole machine, so adapt other thing, this one is to tall, regular size is 5.75, and this one is 7 so way tall. I returned it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose product to work with hand blender. This is larger capacity than some others and works very well.

I've been using a porcelain bowl for months & it was leaving metal marks all around the sides, happy I upgraded. It high quality & can have many uses.

Other than the minor flaw it's good. Hopefully the rust spot doesn't expand too much :)

It's big enough to store my stainless steel straws and spoons. Plus my cleaning brush.
