O'Brien Vinyl Dipped Flotation Swim Belt, Green

We bought 3, and used them all summer long!! They are so great, they float and support you above water! We ONLY used them in our lake, so I have no idea how they would be in an ocean or river! But for use, they were easy to use, and the kids didn’t complain about wearing them! I plan on buying more for guest use!

Works very well. My sister was in a wheel chair and part of her therapy was to walk around the pool. She wore this to feel comfortable in the water and 3 months later graduated to swimming laps wearing the belt. Gave her buoyancy while allowing her to exercise. Several senior citizens in our water aerobics class asked about it and some purchased as well to give them more assurance to swim.

The float pad has good buoyancy for a 160 lb person. It works well enough for me to perform my deep-water PT exercises and for my aqua aerobics classes. It could be improved by a wider strap, because this one (about 1.25" to 1.5" wide) often turns over or slips off the ends of the floatation pad. That doesn't make you sink or anything, just requires a quick adjustment, a bit annoying. Friend's float belt just like this one has lasted 6 years just fine, so it's durable.

Got these for snorkeling in Hawai’i. Wife and I are in our mid 50’s and not as strong as we used to be. It was nice having just enough extra floatation so we could stop out in the water and fix our masks. I didn’t try diving with it, probably would be difficult. They take up a lot of luggage space. We pretty much had 3/4 of a medium suitcase devoted to snorkeling equipment. They seemed secure and comfortable to wear, no problems with needing adjust them as we swam. too early to comment on durability. it's small cross-section makes it perfect for pool aerobics where I need the belt to float up under my arms. Update: The outer surface is durable, but the insides are quite soft, so the product holds indents if it's pushed against an edge. Be careful how you store.

This is a nice solid product. Very functional. Made of reasonably high-quality materials. But I was most worried it would not fit, that it would be too small. It was not - it fit.

I like that the rubber coating sheds water better than other styles making my swim bag less wet!

Works perfectly! I use it for pool therapy.

Much more comfortable than other brands that are wider. Strong vinyl smell… but as you use it in the water it becomes a little less. I had a hip injury and needed something to help me while I went through physiotherapy rehab. Conveniently attaches to my swimming backpack. Highly recommend!
