Quality fine but no good for Air Band Scanning
I like the fact this antenna has a black coating when fully closed which gives it a slightly more premium look and it seems to be reasonably good quality build wise.Whether I misread the description, or this was faulty in some way, or maybe I am just naive, but when connecting it to the Uniden EZI-33 XLT Air band Scanner, it actually made the reception worse, in fact I wasn't even able to squelch interference out completely. So sadly for me this was a fail and I returned it.

Great for upper VHF and UHF
It’s ok but limited frequency coverage. Having put it onto my antenna analyser it covers approx 172Mhz to around 600Mhz so it’s good for upper VHF and UHF frequencies only. It does pick up other frequencies but at a much reduced performance.
