Premium SPDIF Digital Coaxial Audio Cable - 3.5mm (1/8") to RCA, 3ft, Polarity: Tip - Signal, Sleeve - Ground

I wanted an SPDIF cable that would connect my streamer (RCA coax out) to my iFi DAC. It wasn’t 100% clear which type of 3.5 mm coax connection would work with the iFi iDSD signature. The TRS configuration shown in the photo of this product is what does indeed work with the iFi SPDIF input.

Purchased to connect iBasso DX-170 DAP to Topping E50 coax output. Completely unsuccessful initially but first firmware update of the DAP resolved matters completely. Happily recommend both products.

i don't even use this cable often and the 3.5mm side started cutting on and off from my mojo 2 amp dac. i got it stable, for now, but the longevity of this cable isn't quality. so 3 stars because it does work and i would advise keeping the 3.5mm side at a stable horizontal level with your surface as it cannot stand up to bending without connectivity problems.

Ordered this to connect my MacBook to an external DAC, looks really well made, but I'm getting no sound. Looking around the web for instructions with no luck. I know that I may need to configure the MB's audio to be PCM, but there's no way the MB could identify the DAC via the 3.5mm audio jack. Any ideas on how-to are welcomed. Please and Thanks!

Works really well, and if you’re looking for one of these you already know they’re not the easiest type of cable to find. Using this with a Chord Mojo 2, you’ll get far superior sound than any built in dac in practically any case. Use your cd player as a transport instead, thank me later lol! But once again, if you’re looking for this, that was probably why in the first place. I’ve managed a sample rate as high as 352 .8 so far, and seems able to go even higher if need be!

Failed after one month and a few days - you guessed it - outside the return window. 3.5mm plug connection to the cable (Coax with a braided cover to look fancy) just pulled right off. There was no strain relief on the shield, so all the insertion/removal force is concentrated on the center conductor. Will have to repair it myself, and I'll put some heat-shrink over the connector hood and coax to provide a little more support....

The cable high quality and is exactly what I needed.

Worked just as planned going from NAD C538 to Mojo 2.

The description is clear enough - this is supposed to be compatible with the coaxial output from a Fiio X3 ii. It does not work. Just to make sure that I hadn't got something set incorrectly, I swapped back and forth between this and another (supposedly lesser quality) cable, and the original cable worked perfectly while the new one didn't. It appears to be solid and well made, but that counts for nothing if it doesn't do the job for which it was intended.
