Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway Compact Foldable Manual Die Cutting & Embossing Machine for Arts & Crafts, Scrapbooking & Cardmaking, 6” Opening

I am a beginner and found this machine very easy and simple to use! I just use this for making greeting cards as a hobby, and used it for making Christmas cards this year. I like that there is space to store the die cutters and it folds up nice and compactly. Considering there are much more expensive machines out there, I feel very good about choosing this one.

I own several sizzix machines and was a little hesitant to purchase this one to replace my tiny machine. I wondered if it would have to same power and versatility that my others had. IT DOES and it takes up a small space. Added benefit is that I can also use all my existing plates and such with this machine and back and forth. Cuts like a dream. AND has an added 2 year warranty if you register it. Seller shipped quickly and was packed well.

I bought this as I needed a big shot that would fit in our 400 sq. Ft. Park model in the winter. I have limited space. This works perfectly. It is easy to tote to the craft room in our park and has been used a lot since it's purchase and works very well. Highly recommend when you have limited storage space!

This die cutter is very easy to use! It's great for larger die cuts! Folds up for easy storage. I've used it a lot and have had no issues with it at all! Compared many others and this was the best for the money!

It’s a great machine with some major-but remedied flaws! Should have something to make it stay in place like the sidekick! It wobbles and shakes when you slide down the cutting boards through. You have to hold the handle to get the dye cutting boards through otherwise it shakes and moves round unlike the sidekick. This leaves you without one hand to do something else, so I would think about comparing it to the bigger machine, and possibly purchase that one. I did not purchase the big machine because I was attracted to the portable nature of this one.

I’m late to the party but better late than never. Love that it folds up - so glad I spent the extra $$ to get this feature. It’s really adding a fun cool facet to my collage art with the myriad dies and embossing folders available. I’m not into card making much but it’ll come in handy for the occasional family card. I’m more interested in what it can add to some unique quirky collage and assemblage artworks.

Finally got the time to test this little bugger out (Got this a few weeks earlier XD), and I am already loving it! I have a bunch of colorful papers laying around, and a ton of origami papers. Also got a bunch of cutter dies from AliExpress off a whim (They were cute; I have a weakness for cute things) and those videos of using the dies without needing a press of sorts is rather misinformative... So, buckled down and bought this. So far, very easy to use, and really love that it also has storage for my plates! Now I don't have to worry or hear my family grumble that my crafting things are everywhere again XDDDD;;;

The machine itself was in perfect shape, although the box it arrived in was badly torn up and patched up using yards of tape. Box a total loss. The plates that came with it were beyond used and badly damaged with cuts and warping (had to buy new set). Think the plates were switched out by customer who returned the product. Don't know that I got a good 'deal' price after having to buy the replacement parts, but the machine itself works fine. Just be aware that what you get from Amazon Return warehouse may not be what you hoped it would be.

I have had this machine for numerous months now with absolutely no issues. Best feature is folding it up for easy storage. I don't find it heavy when lifting but some may. Does all that the instructions says it will do. Great performer.

This machine is brilliant, I decided to upgrade from my other big shot and a well known crafter on YouTube had put out an excellent report on all machines and voted it tops. I agree with her whole heartedly, it really is the best and has no problem with most intricate dies. Very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.

Wow this die/ embossing machine is great . I spent alot of time researching die cutting machine they are pricy and some are just not worth the money . This Sizxix product is great ,I wanted a die cutting machine that was easy to use and could be stored in a cupboard without taking up too much room this machine folds easily and the pressure on it is fantastic. I bought it on sale and used their 3 month payment plan .....I've used it alot since I purchase it I'm glad I found it. Thanks Sizxix
