Great texture & flavor
This product showed up on time and is all it’s supposed to be. I’m experimenting with vegan cheese making. This product adds a cheese like flavor. I haven’t pulled off a cheese I like yet, but I have hope.

A Brazilian Baking Essential
Sour manioc starch (flour) is used in some Brazilian baking, but most importantly and significantly in Pão de Queijo, Brazil's unique, delicious and utterly addicting cheese bread! With polvilho azedo in your pantry whipping up a batch from scratch is really quite simple. BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS SOUR MANIOC STARCH. It also comes in a sweet version, Polvilho Doce, which is tapioca flour and an ingredient in many traditional Brazilian desserts. They aren't interchangeable, so be sure you're ordering the right polvilho for the recipe you want to make.

Great product
This is my first time using sour starch I heard about it while viewing a video on vegan cooking and the person said it could be used instead of cheese so I decided to order it. I am not sorry. I made vegan cheese with it and my husband loves it. A bit more trial and error is needed until I get it exactly where I want it but I am extremely satiafied with this product. The packaging however was very very messy.
