Beautiful, Sharp & Priced Right!! Recommend!!
This purchase was my first Damascus knife and I am very pleased. I took my time and shopped around before I bought the Knife King "Emperor", contrary to any negative feedback other people gave here on Amazon. I liked the " Old World" look of this knife and wanted the sharp, durable Damascus blade for hunting, fishing & Camping trips. I made the purchase and received my knife On Time, packaged well in a Knife King Box inside a second Amazon Box. I received it within 48 hours per Amazon Prime. My knife arrived Very Sharp,😀 and clean. The Damascus Steel pattern is absolutely beautiful!! It does not appear to be Full Tang as the hardwood handle wraps completely 360' with no visual blade passing inside. But that's OK with me, the price was reasonable and it is a quality constructed knife. It is not the showpiece that my Silver Stag is, but that is like comparing apples to oranges. The handle is comfortable but a bit thin for my hand, good knife for someone with smaller hands. Just received today and have not yet had a chance to really use the knife but it appears to be a very useful tool. It comes with a good leather sheath, brown in color and my knife fits tightly in sheath with a snap, strap to hold knife in place. Sheath has an ample belt loop for the largest belt. I highly recommend this knife as it is constructed of Damascus Steel with great looking patterns, handle is comfortable and knife arrives very sharp in a good sheath. All this at a good price and it is backed by Amazon!

Amazing value for the money.
This is a lot of knife. Huge. I like the quality and the way it fits in the palm of my hand. It's also very easy to keep sharp with simple sharpening tools. The sheath can be easily re-dyed a different color if you so desire. Leather dye is not expensive. The sheath is rugged, should last decades of regular use. Overall I think this is the best value for a knife of this quality on the market, that wasn't bought at wish.com . I would carry this on a camping trip and not worry about lacking a blade. Now, it will require certain care because it's not a stainless blade. So carrying an oiled cloth to wipe this blade is a necessity. Good job Knife King!

Not perfect, but beautiful and functional regardless.
This is a fairly solid knife! It's not work of a master craftsman with decades of experiemce, but you can tell it's well made. I say that because (at least in mine) there are some gaps between the Damascus and the wood parts of the handle, that were mostly just filled with whatever finish was put on the knife, or the epoxy I would presumably say holds the handle materials together. The only other issue is that the blade itself is offset a couple degrees from the handle, meaning if you were to attempt a straight chop, depending on your grip, it might go one way or another, not truly straight. Overall, you can tell it's real Damascus, it is an otherwise beautiful knife, and comes with a very thick and solid sheath. Comes very sharp out of the box. 10/10 would recommend for the price.

True Damascus 100%
As an avid collector of Damascus knives, I had my doubts about this knots at this price. When the knife arrived though, my worries seemed unjustified. Have a look at my first photo. The folded steel pattern continues right into the grind. This is true Damascus of Middle Eastern quality. Thick grain of about 200 folds I'd call it. So I had to test it. I knew it was sharp as I manged a decent cut removing it from its protective shipping materials. Someone here called it excessive. I call it necessary and shows the vendor cares. Right out of the box I cleaned the oil off and started chopping wood. Granted it was just 8" diameter pine, but it dug in good. After about a dozen chops I examined the blade to find not a single flaw. Handle is just as tight as I started with, no cracks in the wood. The knife held its edge with no rolling or dulling. I want to thank Knife King. I don't know how you can produce quality like this at a price like this. WOW is my best description. The ONLY flaw, and I mean only, is the sheath was so tight I could not fit the blade in. I waited for both blade and sheath to get to room temperature before trying again and it was more difficult. So my patience got the best of me and I forced it in. Sending the blade right through the side of the sheath about two inches from its tip. (pic 3) My bad.

Good look for the money
This is a real knife as advertised. The price seems to good to be true for a knife forged from layered steel and with a leather sheath. I would recommend it for someone wanting a passable camping or hunting knife that did not want to spend a lot of money and did not intend to use it much. It looks, feels, and cuts almost like a good knife worth hundreds of dollars. It comes with a workable edge and can be sharpened, this is layered, but this is not high end steel. I would not trust it to last long making hotdog sticks and whittling tree branches. you would be in danger of getting small chips in the blade edge. They warn you to oil the metal or it will rust. This has the look and feel of all bargain mass produced "hand made" knives from Pakistan. They always seem like more knife than you could possibly get for the price. But real world use can have you buying something more expensive made somewhere else. For me I sharpened it up and leave it in my knife drawer. It looks good. I have ruined several other Pakistani blades and do not trust it to stay chip free on the blade if used as a real camping knife. To be fair - if anyone has used it chopping up branches and whittling without any chipping on the blade, than I am wrong. Not going to test it to find out.

Definitely as advertised. Looks just like the picture. Contrary to some reviewers opinions, this is genuine pattern welded steel. It's much cheaper for them to pay 50 guys to make billets than it is to import, set up, and power a laser etching machine. A few minor, nearly microscopic void spaces are visible, and there's a slight, shallow cold shut on the spine. It is very sharp and well greased out of the box. VERY well packed. No rust at all. Not a speck. These cheap 'damascus' blades are notorious for having thin, brittle push tangs, that aren't secured to the pommel.. so I wouldn't subject this to too much hard use. Maybe use your ax to chop kindling instead. This'll do fine cutting work, though. Not sure how well tempered it is, but how often I need to resharpen will give me a clue to that pretty quick. Handle and fittings are tight and seem solid, though I suspect they are just epoxied in, so I won't be hard on it. I do wish they'd matched the grain though. Sheath is nothing fancy, but works. Might need to rivet in the loop. All in all, about what you should expect at this price point, quality wise, and twice that style wise. Nice.

Very nicely crafted knife for the money I paid. I will have to put a thin leather inside the sheath where the snap button is so as to prevent the the knife from being scrath when drawing the knife in and out of it. Knike came well oild and nicely wrapped to prevent damage during shipping. Blade is very sharp. Damascus pattern is very nice.

I appreciate good knives. I had a few collected. When I received this knife I was impressed on how it was made. It is sharp. The quality is great for this price range. The weight, the size is exactly what I need for my hunting activities. I appreciate the efforts of those very creative people and giving this items in an affordable price. Cheers.
