CRAFTSMAN V20* Angle Grinder, Small, 4-1/2-Inch, Tool Only (CMCG400B)

Nice tool! I was looking for a tool to grind and cut metal and this does what I bought it to do.

Nice addition for a beginner DIY durable gets the job done not to heavy. Not to expensive

My husband likes it. He says the batteries last a good while and is powerful enough for most of his jobs.

This is my first cordless angle grinder, purchased it because I have quite a few other V20 tools and batteries and it works well. Only complaint is it drains and overheats batteries very quickly, I'm only getting about 10 minutes of use per battery then needing to swap. Using standard-capacity, branded batteries that came with other V20 tools, may try investing in some larger batteries to see if that helps. Batteries show 1 bar charge after use, and have to rest for ~30 minutes before they can be recharged. I'm happy with the tool since I rarely run an angle grinder this hard, but something to keep in mind.

Bought this to sharpen mower blades. Easy to set up and use. Great value for a reliable brand. Power is what I expected, and can grind a blade as much as needed, without worrying about having to recharge the battery before the job's done.

It's been some time since I wrote the review used it for about a year it does a good job overall gets the job done without much vibration it's not too loud for the $40 I bought it at I think it's well made tool has some good weight to it and I never had to really Force cut anything unless it was a awkward shape. To change the cutting disc is very easy and efficient keep you going on the job without much delay

Absolutely love craftsman and all their v20 tools they always work perfectly and have never failed me

This grinder works only with the bigger battery The smaller ones will die in 5 seconds on an full charge as the voltage drops to much. It has a high amp draw , it works well with the large 4.0 ah battery It's easy to use and runs for about 2 minutes on a full charge . It's a decent value for the quality received it's heavy and feels durable . I have got a lot of use out of this cutter so far maybe few hours cutting already.

If you need a cordless grinder for occasional use you can't go wrong for the price. I have a bunch of craftsman tools already with a few batteries on hand so this was a good choice for me. I have sharpened lawnmower blades, done other metal grinding and cutting with it and so far I am really satisfied with the tool. Very easy to change grinding and cutting discs on it. Overall I am satisfied with the quality of craftsman tools.

La verdad se ve de muy buena calidad y la neta esta perfecta. No esta muy pesada y con el mango intercambiable se siente muy segura. Lo que no me gustó es la llave para aflojar y apretar los discos se siente como que apenas alcanza a entrar en los agujeros pero eso se soluciona adquiriendo una nueva. La verdad me encantó ya nomas falta meterla a la chamba a ver como responde. Actualización: La verdad la e usado y supero mis expectativas por mucho. Solo falta adquirir una batería de mayor amperaje ya que la e usado con una de 2 ah y se la acaba muy rápido si la fuerzas y puede que hasta la haga que se caliente (la bateria). La esmeriladora está perfecta.
