32.8ft LED Strip Lights, HitLights RGB 5050 Color Changing LED Light Kit Ultra Brighter 300LEDs Flexible Light Strips with RF Remote and UL Power Supply for Home Room Party TV Bedroom

I got these lights to add some color accent to our family room when watching movies. They are super easy to hook up right out of the box. They come on a reel which makes installation on a wall super easy. Also, the tape is incredibly strong and is one continuous strip over the length of the string. If you ever want to take these down without tearing off paint I recommend carefully installing them; only peeling small strips out of the release liner every foot or so to get just enough tack to hold them up. I had them hooked up to test within just a couple minutes and the remote worked right away. The colors are bright and consistent with several blinking modes. You can also dim them nicely to set a good ambiance. These are just a good quality set of lights and I recommend giving them a try for any indoor lighting project.

These lights provide really nice accent lighting for my bar, displaying my guitars inside other displays and just about anything else I can dream up. They are bright yet dimmable and offer great color saturation in any mode. They are also low profile and hide easily so they aren’t visible when not in use. They are able to be cut to your perfect size and super easy to install and the adhesive on the strips hold up really well well. My only issue is that they should come with additional controllers optional for purchase. Despite this, I love them so much I still give 5 stars. There are other 4 pin options for powering these available with connector kits as well so it’s not like there is no way to use them it’s just that the options to do so can be confusing so for a simpleton having the Hitlight controller available outside of the one contained with the lights would be great.

I believe this is the 5th time I've ordered these lights. I've tried several other brands and always go back to these. The colors are more vibrant and they last for YEARS! These pictures were taken during the day and you can see how bright they still are. Remote control works great. Lots of colors to pick from. My only complaint would be the adhesive has given us problems on occasion. But overall a very solid and reliable product. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The lights are great. They work perfectly, nice bright colors. The strip is easy to cut and connect. There is no gel to remove which is very nice. The adhesive could be a bit stronger, but it works well on a smooth surface. However, if the strip is hanging upside down on an unfinished board, it may need to be reinforced with double sided tape. The remote could be better designed with more buttons for specific effects instead of cycling through one button to get to the effect you want. The instructions aren't exactly clear either. If not for the remote and the adhesive backing, I would give this 5 stars.

I got this LED strip as a test as I did not have a specific project for it and never tried a color-changing RGB strip. This kit comes with everything you need to set it up. Inside the box is the black LED strip, a 12 volt DC power supply, Mini RF controller, remote control with a CR2025 battery installed, strip coupler to add another strip, adhesive-backed mounting tape for mounting the strip connector and RF controller, and instruction booklet. My kit also came with a magnetic bookmark as a bonus. The instruction booklet is easy to follow for installation and operation. Installation is quite easy: Just attach the strip, connect the RF controller, connect the power supply and plug it in! That's it! Remote is already paired to the RF controller. The instruction booklet also has instructions on how to pair the remote if needed or if you get more then one strip and want to run them from a single remote. There are also operational instructions for changing colors, changing brightness, and setting color-changing sequences and speeds. Note: colors are limited to the 12 listed on the remote. The adhesive on the strip is not super sticky so it can be repositioned if needed. Make sure that your surface is well cleaned and free from oil to make sure the adhesive will stick. The strip is 32.8 feet long (10 meters) by 1/2" wide and uses 1 watt per foot. There are 9 LEDs per foot spaced about 1 1/4" apart. The strip is non-waterproof and black in color for better concealability. The strip can also be cut every 4" at marked cut marks. The power supply is rated for 36 watts max so it will only run 36' of this strip, if you need to run more then you will need a larger power supply. Overall this is a nice, easy to install, and easy to use LED strip. It took me less than 5 minutes to take it out of the box and run it through its paces. The light is not overly bright and would be good for ambiance light for watching movies or having a party. For task lighting, I would recommend a double density strip.

THESE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK! Do not buy them. First of all, right when I set them up I tried to turn them on and the remote was broke. I had to hit the on button on the remote several times before anything happened. I figured it was just this remote and they could just ship me a new remote. So I sent an email to this company and I got a response within a few days. They said that they would ship a new remote and it was getting ready to be sent to me. That was back in January. It is now may and I still have not received my remote. Also, When I want to turn the lights off before I go to bed they turn back on even after I have turned them off in the middle of the night. thanks for the higher electric bill, highlights! finally, the adhesive lights began to fall off my wall within three days. I cleaned the surface they would stick to just like the instruction manual told me, but they still didn't stick. All in all, this company's lights tell me a lot about them, unreliable and not worth the money.
