What the the size of the 2 hex bolt that attach battery at front?

Not sure everything you need will come in box with battery

I have the E3 dual battery scooter. Can I ad third or fourth external batteries to it?

This external battery is made for the ES1 es2 to make it into any S4 there is no such thing as an E3 quit asking silly questions.

I need the connector piece that sticks off of the external battery and plugs into the internal battery. Mine bent and broke. Do i need to buy another

I have an ES3 and have repaired the external battery connection many times. As you use the scooter, the vibrations will eventually shake and loosen the battery, so that it will wiggle while mounted on the handle bar stem. (I am consolidating information from multiple forums into this one post). This is a known issue. If the battery is too loose there will be multiple error codes, ie 42, 48, along with a red wrench icon on the display. There will also be a persistent beeping while charging. The app may also say "external battery communication error, please check the battery, master control and related cables" or "external battery protection borad is damaged. please replace battery." All this means is the 1 or more of the 6 connection pins between the stem and the battery are not making contact. To resolve there there are a couple of reasons there is space. 1. The screws holding the battery onto the bracket are loose. (tighten screws) 2. The screws holding the bracket to the stem are loose. (tighten screws) 3. The handing bracket is bent slightly and when mounted, you can find a gap of 1 or 2 mm, between the bracket and the stem on the lower end, where it covers the stem charging port. (bend the aluminum bracket gently and straighten it out, then reinstall. the battery will now be properly seated and make contact.) 4. The wiggling has "split" the female end, making it wider than the pins, so the pins do not make contact, while inserted. The 4 little pins in a square formation are the communication between the controller and external board. The 2 bigger pins on the bottom are for the current. If the battery appears to be charging, but you get the communication error, then the 2 big pins are making contact, but the little ones are not. If there is no charging, then the big pins are not making contact. (To resolve this in theory, the male pins would need to be thicker, or the "female" end would need to be tighter. Multiple forums talk about dismantling and re soldering a new wiring harness and pins, though that requires a lot of time and skill. Other forums talk about using copper foil and wrapping the pins, which would increase thickness. (Do not use aluminum foil, it is less conductive and has different properties regarding resistance and heat generation). Due to safely issues and if you did not have high school level electronics classes... Hypothetically, what I could do is strip an old wire and recover the copper filaments (threads). Then fold the thread about 8 times to get a mass about the thickness of 2 strands of human hair. The length of the copper hair, should be equal to the length of the pin, then insert a copper hair into each of the 6 female openings. Once they are in, hypothetically, when I reinstalled the battery, I could feel the contact and resistance as I gently push the battery on and there would be full contact between the male and female ends. Hypothetically of course). Now that you understand what's happening, please bring the scooter in to your local repair shop and explain the situation to them.
