BOSS Audio Systems BAB10 Amplified Car Subwoofer - 1200 Watts Max Power, Low Profile, 10 Inch Subwoofer, Remote Subwoofer Control, Great for Vehicles That Need Bass But Have Limited Space

This is a perfect "all in one" amplifier and subwoofer. I was looking for something to add that little thump you expect from some bass in your music. This little guy does the trick. Is it going to blow the windows out and rattle your vehicle? No, but if you are looking for that type of bass then you are not going to be impressed. Is it going to provide the low end bass that you want to feel and hear across all genres of music? Yes, you will feel the bass and it gets really loud with a hard punch without going to the shaking the neighbors windows level. Another selling point for this product is the size that allows you to place this in a vehicle with little room unless you want to put a massive box in your trunk/ cargo area. I drive a new Bronco and this fit perfectly under the glove box mounted against the forward firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle. Product is heavier than you would expect, but that also showcases that it is a quality product inside.

i’ve had high quality JL Audio truck boxes in the past…this isn’t that. however, the sound is not bad at all in my 12’ tacoma regular cab under the drivers seat. Im impressed for what i considered for 20 years to be jenky-ass auto zone speakers.. this is actually quite enjoyable to listen to. definitely a nice addition to stock taco speakers (2 tweeters and 2 door 6x9’s). I’m Happy!! As a 46 yo my 2, 15’ss in the truck days are over but this amount of bass is perfect for my needs

This little Sub is very mighty for its size. It can easily fit under your passenger seat and was quite easy to set up. The sound is pretty good for the price, but I would definitely get 2 if you have an SUV or something bigger.

True to Boss Audio, the wattage claims on this are grossly exaggerated. 800 watts RMS, 1200 peak. Oh my! It’s got a 25 amp fuse folks! On a 12 volt system that’s about 300 watts max! I think a lot of consumers still buy these knowing Boss is full of it on claims but the gear is good enough for the cost. I wanted just a little thump for my pickup truck system. Space in my vehicle behind and under seats is scarce. This thing will not blow your long hair around as you lose permanent hearing, it will shake your rear view mirror however. Overall, after a little over a year, I’m happy with this purchase. There may be better alternatives. I wouldn’t know because I haven’t listened to any of those. But this FITS in my space. It’s easy to install. Overall, it’s plenty good enough. My wife and dad find it “annoying.” My kids love it. That’s probably the best review I can offer.

Before you buy you must ask yourself; do you want to shake the car apart? or do you want to have a nice bass supplement more like a modern day upgraded stock stereo. This box performs well as a supplement. Its a small box but produces pretty decent bass. Is it a window rattler? No... If that is what you want buy a Solobaric 8 and build a box. Also, you must look into how to properly setup a subwoofer. Filters must be set right and yes your head unit does make a difference. Know the specs of your head unit and have a decent understanding (quick youtube) of what the specs mean.

Very powerful for the size. Please note that it is only for base so you won’t get any mid end out of this. It’s pure for base rumble. It is a nice compliment for my existing stereo. In my instance, it didn’t work underneath the seat however if it works for you, that would be the best place to fit it.
