Not a very sturdy fan, but a good value nonetheless. This Comfort Zone Electric Oscillating Pedestal Fan is relatively easy to assemble and is easy to operate. It's a nice size and works well. It generates just the right amount of white noise for me to sleep comfortably. It also has good speed and operates quite well overall. I would absolutely purchase this pedestal fan again; it is just what I was looking for. Five stars from me.

This seemed poorly made, but it has worked out great for me. So, I would recommend.

First it is 14" fan NOT 16" even though the box is marked 16". 2nd it is short only crotch high. 3rd when grabbing the fan to move it the bottom falls apart EVERY TIME. 4th the front grill is metal but the back is a flimsy plastic that would not stop any kids tossed items or since so low - a pet jumping or running into it. 5th the legs are wobbly and the latches are a weak plastic and don't all hold when moving the base (since it falls off the fan) BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT, and DANGEROUS thing about this fan is that IT PRODUCES a CHEMICAL OFF GASSING that makes me VERY SICK, Dizziness Migraines . I thought this might be temporary (berfor the migrane set in) and let it run and it SATURATED the room with the chemical. I had to avoid the room to try and reduce the affect, but then just now, after boxing it up, my head is screaming and vision getting bad. The room I was using it in STILL smells like stale kerosene and distant skunk and I have been airing it. And since I got affected again the chemical must be still active. While in there, I took an article of clothing out and it was saturated with this obnoxious odor. WORSE. I went to return it as NOT AS DESCRIBED (14 vs 16 inches) and at the END AFTER SUBMISSION and reading the DETAILS it stated that IF the item is still in good condition and runs - THEN I HAVE TO PAY A RESTOCKING FEE AND PAY SHIPPING !?! THAT IS NOT RIGHT ! Especially when the product IS NOT WHAT THEY STATE THEY ARE SELLING ! Let alone that is is so CHEAP and makes me sick. AMAZON 'buttons' and selections say I have only this return as option !? NOT RIGHT AMAZON. YOU SOLD A DEFECTIVE AND NOT AS DESCRIBED ITEM

For the price worth it but not a heavy duty fan by any means. Easy to assemble and usable in a small space.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this Comfort Zone 16″ oscillating pedestal fan, but after using it for several weeks I’m genuinely impressed — especially considering the price! This fan was easy to set up right out of the box and didn’t require any complicated tools or extra parts, which I loved.  First off, the adjustable height and tilt are very useful. I’ve been moving this fan between my bedroom and living room, and being able to change the angle and height easily means the airflow is always just where I want it.  The three speed settings give good control over the breeze — from a gentle airflow at night to a stronger gust during the day — and the oscillation spreads air evenly across the room so I don’t have to keep repositioning it.  I was also pleasantly surprised by how relatively quiet it is. It’s noticeable on high speed, but not loud or distracting, even when running overnight.  Honestly, for the price point this fan delivers excellent cooling performance and versatility. If you’re looking for a no-frills, dependable pedestal fan that keeps your space comfortable without breaking the bank, this one’s a great choice!

I bought the same fan five years ago and this one, even though it looks identical, is very flimsy.

t’s quiet in a way that feels intentional, like it understands the concept of peace. Even on higher settings, it hums softly instead of roaring, which means conversations, sleep, and late-night scrolling remain uninterrupted. The airflow is strong and steady, not that weak breeze that feels more symbolic than helpful. On hot days, it actually does the job, cooling the room instead of just moving warm air around. Setup was painless, and the controls are straightforward enough that you don’t need a manual or a moment of self-reflection to figure them out. Bonus points for adjustable speeds and angles that let you fine-tune your comfort like a thermostat with personality. Overall, this fan is reliable, efficient, and surprisingly pleasant to live with. It doesn’t try to be flashy. It just shows up, does its job well, and makes summer a lot more tolerable.

Assembly easy its like 3 steps, gets good air flow, decent amount of background noise, cheap to boot. It gets the Florida man seal of approval
