For those who have been in the midst of a kidney stone event, the pain is excruciating! I woke up in the middle of the night sweating and in pain. Fortunately, I had this Kidney Stone Clear at my bedside. It is recommended to take .5ml in 1/4 cup water every 2 hours until pain subsides, i took .25ml because it has a tendency of, at least in my experience, making it a little more difficult for a bowel movement. Perhaps metamucel is recommended when taking this - other than that - this works even when in the middle of the episode. It took roughly an hour for the pain to subside but i haven't found anything else that works like this. I always keep a bottle handy.

I've had 13 lithotripses and one removed through surgery. I've only passed one stone in my life and that was about 25 years ago. I get a kidney stone about every three years. They are calcium stones. I can't guarantee this product will work for you but I can tell you that after taking approximately 3 or 4 days after starting the product I passed my second Stone. I have been in and out of the hospital over the the last 9 months for kidney stones! This stuff really works! I've been using it while I passed my most recent stone. I was in pain and so scared I would end back up in the hospital. I can NOT believe how much pain it took away. Im serious. This stuff actually helps. So grateful. I want to start this review off by saying that even though it has its drawbacks, and I think it's only if you have other medical conditions, when it works as stated it is well worth the cost! Now the drawbacks. I am diabetic, and this stuff does mess with my blood glucose numbers. Now it doesn't affect them too much, but enough to be a nuisance. Now like the title of this review, it is hit or miss. Sometimes taking it does absolutely nothing, other times it seems it works miracles. It doesn't eliminate your kidney stones, but it does dissolve them. I passed one and it wasn't a hard stone- it was in 2 pieces and squishy. I barely felt it pass. So I just re-ordered. If you take it as per the directions on the bottle, I'd assume it works nearly every time.

Great product, my mom has been using it for years and it actually makes the kidney stones soft and easy to break apart. That was confirmed by my mom’s physician after examining a stone which was passed.

I DON'T REMEMBER IF THIS WAS ANY GOOD -- MY HUSBAND HAD/ HAS KIDNEY STONES. IF IT HAD BEEN GOOD, WE WOULD HAVE ORDERED MORE.
