Why did you pick this product vs others?: These appear to be very good quality. I returned these because they were too small and ordered a heaver spring, but it was my fault in measuring the door weight. I ordered the heaver load version of these springs and and my door worked properly. ( NOTE: Most doors use a pulley that requires you to double the spring weight to compensate for the 2 to 1 pulley )

I bought these to work on a old garage with weak springs and it worked great. Even with only 1 spring installed, it made a enormous difference. It's well coated and looks like it will rust quite well. The loops are closed and fairly strong. It has good lifting power but isn't so tightly wound that you can't mount it. For the price, its very much worth it and makes renovating a garage door eminently worth it.

Strong spring. Set up easy.. just leave slack to hook on. Important make sure to get some color match to your door spring. To heavy or to light won't work and could damage door.

I have handmade heavy wooden garage doors. I think the old springs had begun to wear unevenly and needed to replace the pair, (always replace in pairs to keep the tension balanced). I like the price of these as the cost of a pair is less than some sellers charging for one piece. One thing to note is that these are made in China and do not follow the color coding scheme in the US where the different colors represent the different weights that the springs should support. Other than that, these were easy to install and after checking with many test cycles, work fine.

Just received our garage door springs. We thought the box was somewhat small to hold 2 springs. When we took the original wrapping off the box, one spring shot out and could have seriously injured us if we were in direct line of it. Not saying the springs aren’t good but feel compelled to forewarn others !!!

After 17 years of use, my garage door started having problem opening and closing. A closer examination revealed the existing springs had stretched out and were loose. This was my first time replacing the garage door springs, and it was not a simple job. However, with some DIY experiences, it wasn't too complicated to figure out. After the replacement, the garage door was back in action again with no more issue. The new springs looked a little thinner and less heavy-duty than the old ones, but they worked out fine.

Our mini-garage door spring broke and this is doing a fine job especially with the safety straps. Very easy installation

The old springs finally stretched out, and one broke. These do the job 👍. My only wish (suggestion), for safety purposes. To also include two safety wire catch cable's for running through the springs. One of our old springs broke while closing the door with the car exited, thankfully. Did not know about the use of a safety catch wire 🤷
