I bought this because I was fed up of my big Delia smith not staying open and falling over when propped up. This is the jack of all trades and master of all trades. The organ grinder and the monkey of book stands. Honestly, it’s perfect. It holds my MASSIVE Delia smith cookbook open and it takes barely any room on the counter, and it’s pretty so it looks lovely. Mine is out all the time and it has my recipe book and meal cards for the week all ready. It can be as high or flat as you want. I cannot recommend this enough. Brilliant!

This is very well made,it looks lovely with the cut outs adding to it,I have had a stroke so find it really hard to hold and read a book,so this is perfect for me to read in bed. Even if you have just started the first pages the holders keep it in place and hold it open enough for you to be able to read both pages. All in all it has transformed my reading experience,in fact I have finished my first book since the stroke two years ago and I was a voracious reader before it so I am very grateful and it's a really good price too!

Perhaps I should be giving 5* instead of 4 but there is room for improvement on handles if reading its perfect for holding post letters documents when typing & to be fair I'd rather have this reading than without. it will have so many uses in fact I upgrade this 5* especially for price value quality & usefulness.

I don't normally bother to post reviews, but I felt compelled to here.. The Stand is made from lovely wood. I want to avoid plastic as much as possible now. It is very sturdy, looks beautiful and does exactly what it's meant to. I have not hesitation in giving this top marks on all points.

It did the job. I can now read my book without having my head down throughout. The design and the quality is really beyond my expectation. Nice stuff to buy.

This has been perfect for me to hold my knitting books as i read the patterns. It is strong with page holders that do their job holding down the pages. It is stylish looking and folds away neatly.

I use the product for books when working on my PC. It’s crafted to perfection and holds the book and page opened very well. Glad I purchased this piece and great value.

Bought as a present for my wife. It was appreciated, especially the element of decoration. For my part, I was glad to find it sensibly sturdy with useful adjustment. If I had to find any fault, it would be that I am tempted to run a little fine sandpaper over some of the sharpish edges, but I've not got round to it yet so clearly I am not that bothered. Good value, practical and yet looks quite stylish.
