The plugs work as intended and so are a good buy. I use mine to turn the fan on and off throughout the night when in bed. Also good that it comes with 2 remote controls but could do with a third as there are 5 plugs. Can not be used in a tight space because of the size of the plug. Disliked the fact that the remote controls do not come with batteries included and they are not the typical sized batteries that you would have at home. Batteries not included should be advertised more clearly so they can be picked up in advance. It says 23a in the instruction guide but it appears that you can also use the A23, MN21 and V23GA. I bought the MN21 and they fit just fine.

Very easy to set up and 2 remotes very handy. Works very well and such a luxury to have.

These were great to start with but now have 2 plugs that wont work with remote and have tried rebooting but to no avail.

Simple as well as being easy to use. I imagine will make considerable energy savings by being easy to turn units off remotely when notneeded or leaving a room..

Needs an A23 battery for each control. Works well, although my use was at short range, so I can't comment on the possible operating range. My first battery was not a new one. it lit the LED on the control but did nothing to the plug units... a new battery worked well. Each plug unit is pre-programmed to a numbered button on the control, 1 to 5. I wanted four of them to respond to the same button, so reprogrammed them to button 1. It works well enough, but I found that they will also still respond to their original button. Edit: After use for a week, I found that the range may only extend to a few feet if an obstacle is between the control and the switch.

Everything works as it should. Having a 2nd remote is very useful as in the past I have had remotes fail and difficult to find new remote only. I have these tucked behind furniture all over my lounge and they all activate without fail.

Only four of the five remote control sockets worked, the other one flashed but wouldn't accept a setting from the R/control handset. I only needed four so didn't bother returning them. Quality control must be very poor.
