Easy to fit
The SE Sport Drill Free kit is great. I fitted it to a Yamaha 25HP 4 Stroke. I adapted the instructions to suit as the Yamaha lower skeg prevents the kit from locating as far forward as SE Sport say. So I had to use the lower plated as my guide (not the top plate as recommended). Apart from that it was completely hassle free. I bolted an SE200 foil on it and now the boat works like it should.

SESport CLIP
I had some doubt re whether SE Sport CLIP would stay connected to the motor but thankfully it did. It seems very solid. My only disappointment was that due to the shape of my 30 hp Mercury motor there is about a 1” gap between the motor and the slot in the Hydrofoil. I did not notice any forced spray coming through the gap so I am pleased with the purchase. The SE Sport 200 Hydrofoil does also get the nose of the boat down quicker after takeoff.

Total waste of money
Product was difficult to install. The package was missing pieces. Also the bolts were not very strong, i broke off 3 different ones, and i didn't even torq them that much. Much easier and faster to just drill and install the hydrafoil.

Saves drilling and possibly negating warranty.
It was a bit awkward to install but the video did help. Since I didn't want to drill into a new motor and possibly negate the warranty, this was a perfect solution.

Great wake and almost now low speed wander, attaches firmly
Great, completely changes the way my boat handles, planes and the shape of my wake. Much better for wakeboard jumps. Another side benefit I wasn't expecting, my boat doesn't wander nearly as much at low speed/idle. I used to waddle back and fourth significantly, now it's relatively minor. This gave me the opportunity to test the whale tale on my boat without doing anything permanent. Attaches very securely too.

Is it compatible
Be sure it's compatible with your engine. It is not installable on small HP Suzuki outboards, mine is a 2024 20HP. That being said, the concept is a option to not drilling holes in the cavitation plate but as I was unable to install it not sure of the functionality under pressure when running on plane. Solid looking product with easy to follow installation instructions, just be sure of compatibility.

Works great. Easy install though not terribly intuitive: READ and FOLLOW instruction and you'll be OK.
