Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Signature Round Dutch Oven, 5.5 qt., Meringue

What can I say it’s a LeCruset that says it all! It’s the best in all ways. They are pricey but worth it. They also personalize the knob on the lid, that’s a nice touch. They are heavy but that’s part of their quality and great heat distribution. This pot will last a lifetime.

I’ve used dozens of different pots and pans over my long cooking career but none are better than this Dutch oven. I use it as a sauté pan, to cook sauces, and just about everything. It cooks evenly, you can use medium heat and it still gets hot, and the enameled version is super easy to clean. It may not work for those who may not be able to lift it—it’s heavier than most pots. It doesn’t chip(I use the scotch brite no scratch pads). It’s like a work of art. The whiteish ombré color is stunning. I leave it out on my stove. It’s definitely worth the high price. I have other Le Crueset pieces but I wish I had bought this highly versatile Dutch oven first.

I had long debated buying this due to the cost, but I can honestly say it is one of the best purchases I have ever made! This thing is a workhorse, I cook just about everything in it and use it 3-4 times a week. I have not had any issues with food sticking and being unable to clean it off. It is very heavy, but this helps items cook evenly. It is the perfect size for 6-8 portions of soup, can fit 3-4 chicken breasts on the bottom, and also works well for bread! Not to mention it is beautiful, I keep it on my stovetop even when I’m not cooking! I truly love this Dutch oven. If you’re debating it, I say buy it!!!

What an amazing price on this Le Creuset Dutch Oven! It’s a beautiful addition to any kitchen! I gave as a shower gift, and the bride was thrilled. Highly recommend for gift or to keep!

Excellent quality, I have waited for a long time to fine this Dutch oven at a discounted price. It’s still extremely expensive but you get what you pay for. Makes an excellent sourdough loaf. Le Cruset is the best!

Yes this Dutch oven is cost prohibitive, but then again it is a lifetime investment. My only suggestion is don’t wait if you can afford it. I have used cheaper ones, which has chipped over a short period of time, and I am careful with my cookware.

Délai et livraison: TB Emballage dans son carton d'origine, enrobage de papier grosse bulle et d'un plastique pas eco-friendly mais efficace pour assurer sans choc! Seul bémol, la couleur, non pas blanche comme je l'attendais d'après les photos, ou blanc crème mais dégradé entre deux tons: c'est vrai que les meringues sont parfois blanches mais d'autres fois, entre blanc, crème à quasi praliné. Je dois avouer que je n'ai pas adoré au premier abord, m'attendant à du blanc/blanc cassé, mais bon, cela reste la couleur que j'aurais choisi pour faire ma cuisine même si les autres sont belles aussi. La douceur de la cuisson est parfaite, cuillère en bois, garde au chaud. Je recommande. J'avoue que j'aurais préféré acheter à l'entreprise directement, et j'avais peur d'une qualité inférieure, mais la différence de prix avec amazon m'a convaincue. Je tiens à soutenir les commerçants et les entreprises à taille humaine, mais amazon m'est utile aussi car je vis à l'étranger (UE). Pour cet achat de cocotte Le Creuset, c'est la différence de prix qui m'a convaincue et surtout la livraison à l'étranger que malheureusement toutes les entreprises ne sont pas prêtes à effectuer.
