Great Product
I was hesitant at first after reading a lot of reviews about receiving the item bent etc. But I am so glad I went ahead and did it. First off if you receive this product with a bent blade...holy crap it had to have been warped in shipping because this is not flimsy metal. Yes the blade is dulled and the point rounded off , which is what I wanted since it is to be used as a cosplay piece. The sword is a tight fit into the scabbard, but that is also a plus as someone can't run up and just yank it out. It looks great and is worth the money as a costume piece. This is NOT to be used for actual fighting.

A decent costume sword
To start with, this sword is good for costume only. When I received mine, the sword handle was very loose from shipping. This was fixed by screwing down on the pommel and it tightened up decently. The handle itself is plastic with either a wire or some other wrap applied to it. The blade itself is completely dull and appears to be untempered steel. It does have a high polish, but due to it being untempered, any real use will cause the blade to bend and may not return to true. The blade cannot be sharpened and is basically a slab of polished steel and is completely dull and the same edge thickness throughout. The tang is a rat tail and you can disassemble the entire rapier by unscrewing the pommel cap. The weight is also very forward heavy (I measured center of balance 5" forward of the basket) and anything more than just mild swinging makes it really seem unbalanced. Maybe good for building up your forearm muscles, but not really for any practical fencing or rapier work.

Decent blade
Pretty impressed with the sword for the price. It's in good shape nice and flashy feel solid. I haven't tried fighting with it yet but I'm an experienced single sword rapier fighter at the local Renaissance Festival. I was a bit disappointed with the frog. It's oversized for the scabbard and won't fit tightly.

Exactly what I wanted
I ordered this as a costume piece/something to swing around in the street and honestly just play with. I noticed that some reviews complained about the sword coming warped/bending easily, one such review stating that the blade would wobble and bend if the sword were held up straight. This was not my experience. When the sword arrived, I pulled it out of its sheath and it was very sturdy and remained straight as I tested it out. It was dull and the tip was not sharp(Though of course it could still do some damage), which was exactly what I was hoping for. It also came with the frog as promised and my only-ONLY-complaint is that the straps/laces holding the frog closed are cheap and peeling slightly, which is no issue to me. This is exactly what I was looking for, and I am looking forward to using it in costumes and whatnot. In summary, this is a great sword without any dangerous edges and a great prop. Five stars.

Palm destroyer without well-performed modification
This has a nice flex and weight (medium light, and about 2” from hilt when held in a proper ‘trigger grip’. HUGE ISSUE!!! There’s a horrid design flaw with a very sharp and uncomfortable squared off part between the normal handle and what connects to the swept hilt. Why they didn’t round this off in design is beyond me for this is otherwise a very appropriate rapier! The palm digging is need of modification which is requiring me to use my very experienced hand with a dremel to round our and contour those sharp edges! If they fix this design flaw on their own, it’s completely worth the <$100 USD for a very practical rapier apart for the palm destroying handle design!!

Worth the price
For the price you pay, its totally worth it. Obviously you wanna be careful with the sheath since its made of wood. However, the sword is heavy af. If you see the pics I post with this you'll see that with my big hands it covers the handle very well and you'll also see how hard im gripping it from the weight itself. It does have the grip "tape" inside that leaves smudges on the blade. The blade is also NOT SHARP at all. It looks like it can be sharpened so fear not for those who want to.

Not bad, but not great.
Looks cool at first, but it's too heavy for a thin blade. Also, the blade does not fit well into the handle/pummel. There is too much wiggle room, so 3 stars.
